The Australians have something called a Cheese Kransky, which appears to derive from some kind of Balkan heritage, that sounds a bit like that cheese in with the meat sausage.
We got 3 starters and a main to share. It was really good, helps when the weather is good and you can sit outside I guess.
Thinking about 64 degrees north or The Coal Shed for tonight.
Yeah, that and the scallops were definitely my favourites. Great meal.
Yeah, being outside in the sunshine makes it better, particularly with seafood. I think it's more of a lunch place. Didn't help I was camped inside irritatingly close to an extremely drunk couple (the woman complained when they took the salt crust away as she wanted to eat it) who were very 'chatty'.
Bitch also pulled what I thought was an extremely clever (and I would imagine highly infuriating trick for a waiter) whereby she complained that they'd taken her drink (margarita) away before she had finished it. It clearly has only dregs/ice or whatever in it but she was adamant and they had to comp her another one.

Hooked on tamago kake gohan at the moment. It's so easy (especially with a rice cooker), and so fucking good that I'm finding it hard to not just have it multiple times a day. Just made it with camargue red rice and it was especially .
I got kicked out of a club in Chester for posing for a photo with someone elses empty cocktail jug. He took exception to me "stealing his drink" and had a word with the bouncers, who he clearly knew.
Was satisfying seeing the bouncers immediately regret asking me to leave when my mates stag party of about 20 followed me out, before they had chance to buy any drinks.
I'm a twit
About an hour outside of Liverpool where we’re stopping for the night.
Are Almost Famous burgers worth the hype? If not, anything else?
It was indeed fantastic.
Curry on the way (as soon as they confirm at 5)
The eagle has landed.
Large doner here for 7.
Making a proper dirty Sunday dinner. It's been too long.
Xianing (sp) beef noodles for lunch - awesome.
What are the bottom two fritter things?
Fuck that's good.
Mash Direct do ones nice enough that there's barely any point making them.
Im not the biggest fan of ready meals but I had one of those on Saturday night and it was ridiculously tasty.

Ready made jackets.....FML. It would have probably been cheaper to buy four spuds, slap some olive oil and sea salt on then bang it in the oven.
Fuck microwaved jackets too.
Those jacket potatoes are fine for a quick lunch.
Yeah they're fine if speed is the key thing.
I dont own a microwave and it took her about 40 minutes in the oven. I thought it would be awful, but I was shocked. For 40 minutes, I would rather do a proper one but still. Surprised.
Are all jacket potatoes female or was it just that one?
You have got to be kidding me.....I'm surprised they weren't inedible. It's all about the skin for me, a jacket needs to be crunchy. I imagined the microwaved ones would be a soggy mess.
The skin stays firm enough so it doesn't fall apart as it's already been baked or par-baked or whatever but they definitely don't crisp up in the microwave.
I know you can shortcut it in the microwave for 5 minutes and then put it in the oven.
Baked sweet potatoes are the shit
I'm so curious that I might go and grab a box. Four in a box, are they a decent size or do they shrink, Sincere?
No, they are a good size. I dont trust microwaves so dont know what happenes if you use it. Probably explode so I would just oven it for an hour.
Sweet potatoes might be the worst thing in the whole planet. Vile stuff.
People seem to like all of their food to be sweet, so I guess that's why they are popular. Another thing I hate is sweet BBQ, which is the only kind you can get over here.
BBQ sauce on a pizza....it's up there with pineapple. It just does not go!
I'm going to go through this thread later to see if I can tax any ideas. Any suggestions wouldn't go amiss either tbh.
You order some food, which is supposed to come with fries. Your food comes and you get fucking sweet potato fries. One of the worst feelings in the world.
A place around here serves homemade chips (which are almost always shit) with their sandwiches, which is quite common obviously, but in a stroke of absolute evil, they put sugar on them. What the fuck is wrong with these people.
So you don't like being duped. The first few times I ever tried them was when restaurants would give them to me in fry form when i was expecting real fries and I felt pretty neutral about em. Then I went to a dinner where we were making a bunch of dishes and someone taught me how to make sweet potato fries. They were the best thing I'd ever had. Now I'll bake a sweet potato for fun and eat it with nearly every meal (when I'm living alone). Cut it open, lather it in butter and salt and chives. Oh baby.
Way healthier than pretty much anything else that's equally sweet.
I don't like being duped. I also don't like sweet potatoes in any form. Not too hard to understand.
In Mexico some people push carts around that make a really loud whistling noise. They sell sweet potatoes bathed in condensed milk. Can't be the best business around, but who knows.
Sweet potatoes are okay in their own right but basically anything you try to do with them is better done with an actual potato.
The state of these fucking cunts.
I feel like 'I dont trust microwaves so dont know what happenes if you use it' has gone unnoticed.
