England have been abysmal so far, but that's a great finish. Hopefully that settles the nerves.

What the actual fuck was that corner.
I'm a twit
England are losing 2-1 but playing decent. That's not a penalty for them though. No way but it's given.
The england number 18 is Vardy in the face.
Penalty saved by USA. They still lead 2-1

Reminded me of Berbatov against Everton.
What the fuck was that? This is the first match I've bothered with, and this is sub-League 2 shit.
It's worse than League 2, but it's still entertaining.
Harry Maguire flying into tackles getting sent off
Have you all forgot Love Island started at 9?
I'm a twit
They really do throw themselves to the floor
The Love Islanders? I think that's the point.
I'd say thank god this is over but I've not watched more than 5 minutes. Absolute garbage football that you wouldn't bother watching on a sunday morning.
If we're treating the ladies equally then that is the shittest England penalty ever.
Tbf, you get those throw-ins at least twice a game in the AFCON and the ref doesn't bat an eyelid.
The argies are shit
Jesus with a simple tap in after 20 minutes.
Argentina's defense is a bombscare. I don't think that Messi even touched the ball that half.
Raul with an extra time penalty in the semi final to beat Haiti. I fell asleep 6 minutes in and have had to review this morning
Soft penalty
Jamaica to pepper USA in the other semi final later on tonight.
I like the idea of Haiti being not too bad at football.
I mean why wouldn't you though
FUN FACT: Lionel Messi had zero open play goals and zero assists in the entire Copa America.
Yeah but he ran about contributing nothing in the most beautiful way anybody has ever done it because Little Magician, mate.
Player of the tournament.
I love how the Americans seem to think we're still really hung up about the Boston Tea Party.
To be fair, they've only got 250 years of history to call their own. Most of which was spent fighting among themselves.
It's not really about the Boston Tea Party though is it.
I'd wager that less than 50% of Brits under 50 know what the Boston Tea Party was.
Somehow about Trump.
Its a craft beer.
I'm a twit
Less than 3 stars? I'd have chucked it overboard as well.
Yeah, it's not one of their better efforts that one.
Even if it isn't in this instance (I have no idea, that seemed to be the beeb's take going off their headline) I have seen enough cultural references to said event to know that it seems to sit large in the American psyche as something we Brits really rankle over.
The Boston tea party, like 90% of American history, is boring.
It's a massive thing for them as the centre of their national foundation myth, whereas we had plenty of other colonies so no biggie really.
Our version of that is getting into the Germans about the world wars, as if the new generations of Germans give a shit about Goering's blunders 80 years ago.
I don't know anybody that cares about the world wars. It'd be embarrassing to bring that up in this day and age, especially from a national hero on the world stage.
It's the only time in history when they've been on that end of the David/Goliath continuum, so they still cling onto it. Get all arsey if a black bloke kneels for the anthem though. Funny old place.
They're mostly absolute wankers, ye. Bruh does a decent job of bringing that side of America to the board. Big up Spoonsky, though.
A single pinky has basically donned this entire thread but i'm the wanker.
Sure, sure.
Let them have the world wars, even we ran them with a bunch of outmanned farmers. All this Brexit stuff would be so much smoother now if they hadn't bottled it and prematurely surrendered back in 1921.
What an odd response.
Cocaine Guerrero has just killed off Chile 3-0 to set up a final with Brazil.
I'm really not sore. I'm a Scotland fan if anything. The yanks just need sorting.
USA should win easily at women's football, as they should win at every non-global sport, because their collegiate sports programmes are drenched in money for athletes to grow up playing their sports without an economic necessity to earn from them, and no other country has that privilege.
Every team that isn't the USA is a massive underdog for that reason - it's the same in golf, in tennis, athletics, swimming etc etc etc.
