No way is Human Rights FC winning with their torture bucks better than Blackburn in 95.

Nothing beats the sight of Tony Adams in full flight leathering it past whoever was in goal for Everton, even if it wasn't as drama-laden as other offerings (I assume they'd won the league by this point).

From memory I think they had to win that game to win it, and that was the fourth in a 4-0, so it was a good crowner.

I also seem to remember Liverpool smoking them in a dead game afterwards, mind.

Yeah, I always had that in my mind as their last game of the season, but apparently not.

Same. Had it down as the last of a 4-0 against Everton (in the blazing sunshine), but was sure it was the last game of the season.

No love for the Ruby Weapon? Or Emerald, but that's a little more structured, I appreciate.

    Ozma was fun though.

Ruby gets a honourable mention but with Hades + Knights of Round he'll go down quite easy.

Fair. I enjoy the setup for that one, where it's smart to come in with two dead characters. Once you're into the routine you've got it, but there's a hairy few turns at the start when you're getting the pieces in place.

Emerald has the fun game where you try and minimize your materia coming in.

KotR totally borks all of the big FF7 bosses, but I guess you actually can't beat those two without it, can you? The thrill of getting it/getting the golden chocobo though.

    God I loved that game.

You can but it'll take longer time. A shitload of counter attack materias and hero drinks + elixirs is all you need.

Gasping into the cold vacuum of space as your eyeballs explode is an odd entry into that sort of list, especially if you can only think of three more preferable ways to go.

I don't think it works like that, does it? He'd suffocate inside 20 seconds, his bodily fluids will boil and vaporise whilst the rest of his body expands like Violet in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory whilst getting frozen.

That original LMA Manager was superb. The only non-PC management game that's ever been any good.

I don't know about the only one. Premier Manager 98 on the PS1 was decent.

97 on the PC was my favourite. The sheer speed and turning off aging allowed multistarred players.

Actually, there was one management game before LMA manager that was alright. It had a "skip to end" button for matches, which I loved - especially against cannon fodder. Loads of games seemed to end up with mental scorelines such as 6-4, 7-3, etc.

Can't remember for the life of me what it was.

I had one of the LMA Manager games. Probably 2001. Inter were the best team to be on it, and the only formation that actually seemed to work was 3-4-3. Christian Vieri and Alvaro Recoba were the two best players on the game (Diego Tristan and Patrick Kluivert were mega too), and Mohamed Kallon became equally brilliant after a couple of seasons, so you were set, and then you could spend most of your time doing all the weird shit like choosing the advertising hoardings. The match engine was about a decade ahead of Football Manager as well.

    Thank you ffs

But also I thought the removal of the helmet was more of an insta-death so maybe I've made a mistake.

I just thought like it would be cool to get shot into space and just kinda be out there for awhile. I bet looking all the stars and shit would be pretty lit.

Pretty sure Onside had this, where in the management bit you could toggle ticket prices really low to fuel endless expansion of the stadium. Like, a million seater. Pioneered 3D highlights as well.

    Tilkedromes:

    1) Sepang
    2) Bahrain

    4) Singapore
    5) Shanghai

I struggled to put together that five. I only like the first 3. I've left Burinam and Aragon off the list but they at least look more like circuits someone else could've designed.

I'm still not over Brighton Championship outright 2016/17 at 16/1. Seven point lead with three games to play, reduced to a one point lead by the final day. Then winning at ten man Villa who are already on the beach, until a last minute Jack Grealish equaliser sinks it.

Whoever made USM obviously wanted a functioning economy with transfers and other stuff rising over time but they clearly didn't bank on people playing very far into the future because you'd end up with scarves costing hundreds of pounds and a full on roast dinner (I'm sure these were included) for about a grand.
