Apparently Lionheart, of ICW fame, has hanged himself.
Apparently Lionheart, of ICW fame, has hanged himself.
His last tweet is absolutely daunting to read. Heartbreaking.
Somehow it's the Retweet of Thoughts of Dog that's the real kicker.
Following my list of wrestling themes in the top 5 thread I've been looking up some of my favourite moments of his music hitting.
I still remember Channel 4 cutting to ads just after his music hit. Bastards. "IT'S LIKE A MAN PLAYING WITH CHILDREN!" Steady on, JR. Belter of a chokeslam on Kane though.
Another belting chokeslam at the end, this time on Roman's dad Luther Reigns.
And if you go to five minutes in on this you get the music, Rock and HHH acting like literally the worst has happened and Howard Finkel donning it.
Music hitting for a surprise return is peak WWE.
It's a shame he couldn't hold on to his shape after leaving WCW.
He got back into pretty good shape at one point if i recall.
Also, re: Lionheart, he literally tweeted just yesterday he was eager for his first title defense. Such a shame what mental issues can do to people.
Which in itself is driving people away. If they announce The Rock is back next week on RAW, you'll probably tune in to find him there for 5 minute cameo in the 3rd hour and be annoyed.
Whereas if he just appeared for the same 5 minutes as a complete surprise you'd mark out a little.
Returning wrestlers are far more popular than people who are on the TV show every week. Which is pretty damning when you think about it.
All of WWE has moved from Sky to BT from January 2020
Word is that Lars Sullivan will be out for 6-9 months, it was originally said he would be out for only a week or two.
After an NXT to main roster call up that's pretty much the dream. He's already getting 50/50'd against fucking Lucha House Party.
Is he? I thought they had two matches with him winning both, although the first was only because those bastards faces got themselves DQ'd.
He was meant to start a feud against Matt Hardy (they've been working together at house shows) so it was only a matter of time before he started losing.
Pretty cool way to introduce new talent in this breakout tournament.
Bronson Lee to win it all.
Drake Maverick/Spud still in character and putting Truth over at his actual wedding. Hero.
The 24/7 title is the best thing in the WWE for years.
It's just a shame the actual title is fucking hideous.
'Actual wedding'
https://411mania.com/wrestling/drake...wedding-party/
I assume they had the actual wedding ceremony then they got everyone set up for the title change but it was his Wedding.
If he had the wedding first then filmed this it wasn't his actual wedding was it.
Well I also don't know if they had the wedding first then filmed it or if this was actually part of the ceremony. I was sadly not invited.
His wedding was today, he lost the title at his wedding/'wedding'.
Happier?
It's still real to 'How, damn it.
It's only a real wedding if Reverend Slick is officiating.
Wednesday night Dynamite.
Well that was pretty meh on the whole.
Having two heels with everything on their side still losing is very WWE, isn#t it? McIntyre should've been beating Roman.
Pleased that O'Shea won and if he's now gonna be feuding Styles I'm all over that and the US title match was decent. There was some decent stuff in a few of the matches but after such a diabolical build it was hard to give a fuck.

Just started.
Cruiserweight triple threat
GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULAK \0/. He's been ready for that title for a while now.
I no longer have the network and seemingly that’s no bad thing. Maybe I’ll get it back for the Rumble... maybe.
Was pretty average overall, probably better than I expected. I liked the two women's matches, the Ricochet/Joe match and bits of the rest. The ending of the cage match was the best ending to a match in a long time.
Yeah the way Kofi won that caught me off guard, I did like that.
Hopefully that's the end of the feud though.
Seth Rollings has either gone mad or given his Twitter login to an intern.
Yes he seems to be having an odd one. Though I have never previously looked at his Twitter so for all I know that's just his usual behaviour.
I was wondering why people keep stopping others from crawling out of the door instead of just trying to go through first during the match so props on the finish.
Edit: And now we know why WWE were bigging up Rollins/Lynch relationship. All for Lacey fucking Evans as a special guest ref.

Finished now.
Cruiserweight match and Rick against Joe were the best matches on the card. Two tag matches were also alright with the rest meh bar the main event which was dogshit.
Only 4 to 5 thousand tickets sold for Stomping Grounds. They had to black out one side of the arena.
Yeah it was looking pretty bad when seating plans and such were online last week. For all that the crowd weren't significantly different to how they usually are.
Four matches are being locally advertised (Philadelphia) at Extreme Rules.
Kofi v Dolph v KO
Seth v Jezza - Tables Match (ugh, ugh, ugh)
Roman vs Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre (just fuck off)
AJ Styles v TBA.
I'd imagine AJ will face Rick as they're doing a non-title on RAW.
Also, more fucking Corbin plus Roman is facing Shane and Drew in a handicap on RAW anyway so what's the fucking point?
Surely it should be Roman and Drew v BEST IN THE WORLD? Then it might be a fair match.
At Wrestlemania next year they're changing the Andre Battle Royal apparently.
It will be a gauntlet match with Shane defeating every single Male on the roster.
I feel sorry for all of those having to face the fists of fury.
I haven't watched it (and won't, I'll just read it later) why Taker?
The other is both worse than advertised and yet better. The match itself is even shitter but at least were not subjected to two singles matches.
Hopefully setting up the Goldberg ladder match.
