Scotland have quite a few decent midfielders. Shame about centre halves and strikers.
Turkey rinsing France at the moment.
The latter look an absolute shambles.
Mert is, literally, in goal for Turkey,
@jimmyfloyd
One for you
Operation in full flow there.
If you fiddle with the negative it's like watching United.
When the chatbox is better than the match.
Link gone down. Not put up with 105 minutes of this to miss pens. Anyone?
I'm following the chatbox on this.
Cheers. Have stopped watching the game in exchange for the chatbox.
Are these all good penalties or hopeless 'keeping?
I reckon Sommer could've got Englands last one if he'd stuck his arms out.
That England team today was fucking dreadful. Thankfully for them their younger players carry the squad. Still faf seeing Delph, Barkley and Dier getting close to the team.
Easy this penalty lark.
Not quite a Pressman from Pickford but at least he wellied it. Lol if he was the fifth most keen to take one.
I thought Ronaldo would have been on one today trying to salvage an end of year award. Instead he's BOTTLING another big game.
Surely if England want to challenge for trophies again who walks to the Scotland team is irrelevant.
Im pretty happy things are on the up for England, but a midfield three mentioned above isnt very likely to get them there. Dier probably has a part to play if you keep using the current formation, but Id be looking at upgrades for the other two. I havent seen enough of West Ham to judge myself, but people are speaking pretty highly of Rice, so maybe him (or Dier) Alli and maybe Henderson would be better. I guess youd hope Foden gets more games for City next season as everyone else I can think of dont really seem like players that could provide some much needed creativity for your midfield.
Jack Wilshere.
That England (Mens) match was a bit shit.
Them Portugal man were going hard in the celebrations for the internaitonal emirates cup.
We went to both games yesterday and the difference in quality is huge. Portugal Netherlands was like watching a different sport at times, great movement and quality.
England did well though. Swiss were out to spoil and should be banned from international football. Didn't see any violence or aggro. In the Portugal game, the Harry Maguire song was rolled out a few times then "always look on the bright side of life" back at the Dutch after they had sang it at us.
Cracking stadiums as well. Get them onto Sincere's lists.
The Ox will solve our midfield woes. Him and a fully fit RLC will provide unparalleled dynamism. Winks at the base and we're laughing.
The Swiss might never be involved in games that are good on their own merits but I'll keep forgiving thanks to the services rendered at the 2010 World Cup.
Ramos has scored 8 games running for Spain lol.
Edit: wait, nevermind it’s 7 in 8. Still, lol at that.
Kosovo beat Bulgaria.
They'll be seething on the streets of Sofia tonight
Kosovo last lost in 2017.
That Scotland team is something else. Robertson, Fraser and McGinn all dropped. Three of the only four or five talented players in the squad. What on earth
Who was that young lad that you were drooling about some years ago? Ryan Gould maybe? What was of him?
Since RL isn’t around, apparently AWB is done to United 53m
Edit: he is and I am in the wrong place

I love Johnny Russell but fuck knows why Fraser and Forrest aren’t there for playing on the counter. The defence is utterly horrific and should concede at least four.
I’m presuming there’s no VAR as De Bruyne looked miles off in real time and even more so on the replay.
Strange they didn't even mention it.
Awful finish from Scotland then.
He can't leave soon enough.
We are actually in a good position to qualify for a major tournament. The Greece game in September is huge. But to be five clear of Greece and Bosnia after four games is just superb.
Genuinely don't understand Turkey as a footballing nation.
They are the sort of nation whereby if you light a fire under them then everything goes red hot, but if you send them to Iceland on a Tuesday night just after a big win, it has rather the opposite effect.
Basically the opposite of England, who love to churn out comfortable wins against teams they should beat, but you put them under any kind of situational pressure and they crumble to dust.
That's an arrow.
I do love a top-corner goal that looks like it's gone in without any bend at all.
