Ospreay is truly amazing atm.
This Ashley Massaro stuff is getting ugly.

I believe it 100%. How the WWE hasnt had their me too moment is bizarre.
That may be the logical conclusion of all the current unrest among the roster.
Because let's be honest WWE has plenty of other stuff to worry about when you consider substance abuse, racism, bullying, welfare, etc.
EDIT: And surprise, surprise, apparently the WWE roster also hates the wildcard rule with one describing it as a 'crutch', which it is.
Reading about what's happening off-screen is more interesting than their average TV episode at the moment.

Why do we have another Takeover coming up? Not that I'm complaining, like.
I assume they want to do more one off specials alongside Mania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series NXT shows.
Just looked at the card
Adam Cole Baybay is finally getting a title shot it seems and Tyler Breeze has been relegated to NXT to job to The Dream much to Mahow's sheer delight.
By "finally" do you mean "two months after he had one already?"
Also Breeze should be fucking delighted at his "relegation." Build up his rep a bit before he leaves, whenever his contract is up.
So when Ali was told he'd be losing out at the end of the MITB he himself was already a replacement for the original plan of McIntyre.
If the creative / backstage types at WWE are just phoning it in it sounds increasingly difficult to blame them.
Breeze has been campaigning for months to get 'relegated'.
Not surprising really, he spent ages being ignored on the main roster then turned up in NXT unannounced and the crowd went fucking mental for him. He's probably been camping outside Regals house trying to get back in.
I think he was a regular on Main Event but only about 20 people watch that.
Anyone staying up for Double or Nothing?
I’m going to grab it when I get up.
I'll download it later in HD.
No chance I'm waiting up.
What a good battle royal. great start.
What a fucking show that was
I enjoyed most of that but the Japanese womens tag match was dogshit and the final match was everything awful about post attitude era wrestling summed up by the finisher being some sort of shitty spinning elbow.
Jericho's body is defined by it's undefinedness.
I liked that all the chairs outside the ring could fit in in my nans dining room.
" Jericho then hit his new finisher, a spinning backfist called the Judas Effect, and pinned Omega."
Just fuck off.
Just finished it. Great stuff overall I’d say. That Japanese women’s match was duff, as was the three on three men’s tag match. Enjoyed the rest though.
in the weirdest mystic meg moment of my life, when brandi came out i turned to my mates and said "she's gonna add awesome kong to the match", i shit you not. i do make outlandish predictions like that all the time so even a stopped clock etc etc but i was still proud.
The Joshi match was good you mongs. Jericho looks done, absolutely carried by Omega in that.
It makes sense to have Jericho as the inaugural champ imo. But jesus he needs to go easy on the booze.
Moxley challenging Juice is gonna be a good one.
If you watched that match and thought Omega was awful then I don't know what you want out of wrestling. He's one of the top two or three guys in the entirety of wrestling at the moment.
Yeah but you also thought the womens tag team match where they couldn't even lift each other up for suplexes was good. So clearly our tastes differ. It's like when all the Japanophiles said AJ Styles was the greatest thing ever when the WWE signed him and I've not seen him have one good match.
Did you ever consider what that might mean? (And his very last match again Rollings was good)
I actually think that's first time I've ever seen someone say AJ is shit.
I didn't say he was shit I just said he wasn't this god of wrestling that the WWE were ignoring for years that was being portrayed.
When you go from the Rhodes brothers match and the Tag Match after it, it all looks a bit Sid v Hogan.
I'd agree with that ordering but I'd also say that it's very hard to follow a match which had the crowd and the participants in tears and a tag match between the best tag team of the last 5-10 years and the best tag team around right now (neither match was empty of botches either if that's going to be your metric).
On Styles, I suggest you go and watch some of his older matches, anything with him and Okada from about 5 years ago or further back his stuff from TNA in the early 2000's. In WWE it's different but him against Cena or Reigns from 2016(?) is on par with any of his earlier work. WWE is where you go to make money not to have great wrestling matches, it just isn't their priority (look at Nakamuras output since joining the company for the ur-example). You only have to look at the people itching to get out, it's a creatively stifling place if you aren't on the same page.
Styles is brilliant in the WWE. You don't have to go back 5 years to see a good match from him.
AJ's had loads of good WWE matches.
Quite Phonics actually wants from his wrestling I don't know.
He has indeed had quite a few good WWE matches, but I do find, even when he has a shit match, people want to jack off to him. I thought him Vs Shane for example with dreadful (understandably so, but regardless) and people still felt the need to rave about it. In fact the only time I can recall his matches being criticised by the majority were against Nakamura, and even that was usually "It was good... but I wanted more".
Watching Double or Nothing now.
Dustin Thomas with a 619
Edit: Orange Cassidy is fucking amazing.
Absolute don.

Sounds like a stellar episodes of Raw. "This is boring" and "AEW" chants and nearly an hour before they got to their first wrestling match..... which was Shane vs. some member of the Anoa'i family nobody cares about.
Don't ever change, WWE.
Moxley on Jericho's podcast is a great yarn. Thoroughly unloads on Vince.

It's great:
"If there were no other promotions I still would have left WWE, if there were no other wrestlers I would still have left. I would have started my own school and trained my own opponent, re-seeded the wrestling world."
Just listened to the Moxley interview. Damn, I really wasn't expecting him to go in on WWE and Vince like he did. The bridge is well and truly burned and he doesn't give the slightest fuck. It really reminded me of Punk's interview with Colt Cabana as the topics raised were almost identical.
Vince doesn't listen, acts dumb when people complain and actively sabotages careers. It sounds absolutely cancerous and even Moxley himself admitted he fell into a semi-depression towards the end.
He'll 100% be back at some point.
He won't, even when Vince has gone it would seem unlikely.
My brother knows some rasslin' people, and apparently you can make so much money through your own merchandise now that, if you're popular with the nerds (as Jo Nmoxley will surely be), it isn't worth your while going to WWE unless you know you're going to be a top geezer and get the big pay-days to compensate for having to sell your shit through them.
Vince will still be clinging on and ruining as much as he can once Nambrose has retired.
So was “Jon Mosley” actually good before he was seemingly forced to wrestle as Ricky Gervais’ Derek character? Because the pop was huge, albeit mostly from JR, and I was surprised to see him coming in and battering the top boy. Due to me being unfamiliar with him as a good wrestler, it was like if Tajiri has gone over to ECW and jackhammered RVD off a pile of poker chips.
I'm a twit
Well I read today that Jo Nmoxley is also going to enter the G1, which will prove it one way or the other. Also, Tajiri is very good.
Ambrose was solid in WWE. but because he was MENTAL he got stuck in those dead-end feuds. He's not a guy, from WWE experience anyway, who's going to elevate his opponent but he can hang with somebody good. And the crowds almost always loved him so he was bound to get a good pop.
