Gini is how you should be measuring this stuff anyway, 'poverty' is something you can parameterize however you want
Theresa May's Conservatives
Jeremy Corbyn's Labour
Tim Farron's Liberal Democrats
Paul Nuttall's UKIP
2 people's Greens
Nicholas Durgeon's Scottish Nationalists
Satan's Sinn Fein
Dr Ian Paisley's DUP
Some other bunch of nonces
I'm foreign, but I wish I were an Englishman

It's designed to be unsolvable (like the gender pay gap toss). If I inherited a billion quid from some long-lost relative in America the minute it hit my account thousands of kids would tumble into poverty.
Christ, what are you spending it on?
Turfing families out of their homes by the sounds of it.
Just popped up on my phone that she's resigned. Was that not announced about a fortnight ago?
There was a great stat a while back about how every time Tony Blair makes a speech, 30 more kids drop below the poverty line.
Can anyone explain what the point of her announcing that she's going to resign in two weeks time?
Why not just resign today? Either way she stays as PM until there is a new Tory leader.
What is she supposedly going to accomplish in the next two weeks as leader of the conservatives that means she needs to stay on for a fortnight before they can crack with the leadership contest?
Probably to buy time for someone to car bomb Boris Johnson.
I was hoping for a Mark Henry style retirement speech where she hauls off halfway through and powerbombs Bojo through the despatch box.
It's so we have a pm when the great quiff arrives.
PM Borris meeting Tronald would deserve all the #WhitePeople tags Twiiter can throw at it.
Christ.
Come back Blair, you can bomb whoever you want.
If Boris Johnson can end up as leader of your country then there's probably something to be said for having just let the Germans have it. There are not all that many thicket cunts walking this planet.
Jesus, even her leaving speech made her sound like a total tool.
It's not happening, surely.
What, she's not leaving?
It'll happen, it'll get voted down and then we're no further forward. Or it gets voted through and it was all a long ploy just to move May out the door. 3 fucking years, lads. We've got more of this shit to come.
Oh, well, in that case, of course not.
I genuinely don't know where we go from here. Without a general election and a complete annihilation of Tories and Labour I still can't see Brexit getting anywhere close to getting through.
Boris 'Boris' Johnson could home in on NO DEAL and dare the rest of them to stop it.
How quick was your last house move?

He's evens, which is surely arse covering from the bookies. If they genuinely believed he was going to be he'd be a lot shorter than that.
At this point I'd fancy a few hundred on 'nobody' were it an option. Seemingly it isn't though.
Is it less popular than an election and having Nigel Farage run a train through their majority?
It's not balls you need. It's numbers. We simply don't have enough politicians that are anti-Europe enough to push for a no deal. Politically, we love Europe's money. Even Farage wants a deal.
That's my point. Without the numbers (support) he'd have to go it alone, which would take balls he doesn't have.
I don't even think he'd want the gig of PM at this point. The man's a coward.
It's now or never for him, is he going to be our Heseltine?
He could have had it before May and he bottled it then, why would this be any different? The situation's actually worse now.
On her speech, did she really leave that abruptly after finishing her speech?
Aye, her voice broke and she went. I wondered if there was some BBC editing going on but I guess that's how she went. I can't say her heart wasn't in it.
Run for your lives. Michael Gove going for it.
I'm ruling out there being anybody going for it who despises humanity less than May, is there at least anybody even less competent so it'll be a "laugh"?
Gove is the comedy option, and also the best option. Can't imagine the faithful will vote for anyone who isn't Boris, although I'd have Leadsom as a dark horse.
Anyone but Hunt. Anyone.
She is alright really. She just gets a shit time of it for being an actual social conservative and having a bit of a grandma vibe about her.
lol at these results, and at Lady Thornberry doing a massive heel turn on telly. Seumas must be lobbing carrots at the TV.
I don't understand why people on here think Farage is toxic. He nails it time and time again.
I also don't understand how Thornberry is in still in politics.
The fucking Greens have made big leaps in the local elections here, which can only mean more taxes for all. Great.
He's got a lot of his own people and are there any politicians left who are liked by anyone other than their own people?
Doesn't sound like strong enough grounds for me. He gets results, like no one has (relatively) since Blair.
It's telling that UKIPs losses are moving with Nigel's new lot.
