It's admirable that the city players are happy to be rotated for the benefit of the team as a whole, but I'm sure that's a big part of it. As Honigstein said this week on one of the football pods, Sane doesn't entirely fit what Pep wants, which is total control and predictability. He sometimes overplays and can take a fraction of a second longer to make a decision than their alternatives. He's obviously super talented and when he's in full flight he's pretty much impossible to tackle or even foul, but wouldn't be surprised if City took 80m or something for him.
