Fleetwood and McIlroy at the top of the Players this week after Molinari mugged everyone at Arnie's last week, more heat on the yanks. Still, as long as Tiger is purring around ten shots off the lead they seem happy just for him still being there.

Come on Jim where are you?
I've just seen this-
Got to be a first on TV.
What happened? Couldn't see the ball, just him giving out to the fella beside the tee box. Did he put him off or something?
Ball hits the little things that mark where you tee off from.
I suspect you're thinking you're seeing a tee fly forward there- that's his ball.
He accidentally hits it with the toe of the driver, it hits the tee marker and bounces forward a few feet.
No penalty as he wasn't addressing the ball so he just re-took the drive.
Kind of stunt I pull up the Lickey Hills. Got away with one there.
Shame Woods missed that birdie chance on the 18th for a share of the lead. Only acceptable outcome here is a 15th major.
how should i be watching this? there's about 4 red button options on sky and bbc. just the default sky coverage?
BBC highlights.
the default sky coverage is currently showing historic clips of the masters with commentary from different sport superimposed on it, but golf is currently being played. the bbc 2 coverage was some studio banter? i don't understand what the fuck is going?
Gotta protect The Patrons™.
Everything about Augusta is sickening apart from the golf course. I don't want to hear about Magnolia Lane ever again.
The US south has some really nice places, but I've never warmed to Georgia in general. Met some lovely people, but never loved the place.
Early start for The Patrons™ today, they're not even going to be able to run their usual TV denial shite. Well done the weather.
It's brilliant for us over here.
Woods or Poulter today please
Anyone but Woods.
I love Molinari. He is the best player in the world currently. Strikes it unbelievably well.
Woods has won every Masters he’s had the score he did at the end of yesterday but every Major he’s won he’s at least been joint leader at the start of Day 4.
Gwan Son
That putt
And now he's shat it, game over.
Molinari has hit it like a dog, somehow still in it. Think someone random may pinch it off Tiger at the death.
Nah, the big cat has got this. What a man.
What I'd give for a massive hoik out of bounds right about now.
Some dickhead would kick it back in, but you can hope.
Have to say I don't think I've ever found an event so hard to find a stream of. Where is everyone watching?
BBC website eh.
That ain't good.
He's doing his best to make a bollocks of this on the 18th.
Tiger baby.
The Tiger Roll/Tiger Woods double bet seems to have brought out an immeasurable amount of aftertimers.
I'm a twit
Well I wrote him off years ago so fair play. What a comeback story.
Quite apart from anything else, his back was shagged a year ago so I have no idea what sort of miracle physio he's been seeing.
He got this one very much as an old man, too, no exuberant brilliance on the final day or outmuscling then, he used his nous and out thought the field.
I don't know anything about golf, but how do you out think the field when it's a game that features no interaction with your competitors?
Because you're all playing the same holes and at least within your own (in this case) three ball, you'd better believe there's interaction, even if unspoken. It's a psychological war.
Great example of this was on 12 where the wind obviously got big on the last two groups, 4 of the 6 players came up short and found the water, but Tiger recognised this and went ultra-conservative to the left side of the green. He knew how to avoid mistakes.
You're spending all day travelling with a caddy and a fellow player. They're not just going to silently stare each other out for 18 holes.
Nick Faldo used to do just that, but the head to head stuff is more about where you hit the golf ball.
I wasn't questioning the need for "bottle", I imagine golf is one of the sports where it's most important, but the strategy never deviates from "get it in the hole in as few shots as possible". It doesn't really matter who you're playing against or what they're doing, you're still going to do the same thing as if you were going around on your own, surely?
I don't watch golf and have only played a few rounds of it (very badly) but if you're not laser-focused I can imagine how the other guys compose themselves making a difference.
Surely at this level notice is taken of what people playing ahead are doing? Weather conditions, has someone dropped their nachos on the fourth green etc.
I thought it was weird how much the commentator was laying into him on the last hole. He needed to hole in 6 and the guy was raging that he wasn't on the green in 2...
I've never been an advocate before, but they probably should bin the USPGA in favour of The Players as the 4th major, particularly with this calendar move.
And from our man Ronnie O'Sullivan:
Just about sums it up.It’s Impossible to not love bruce keopka
They should put it back to being matchplay as it was back in the day.
I love that Koepka somehow makes the yanks seethe. Really impressive achievement from one of their own.
What's going on here then?
How is there a man called Jazz Janewattananond and how has he not been awarded the trophy automatically?
