As if Flair can die.
You're a shambles, Keeks.
Unban the man.
I'm a twit
The great thing about Ric Flair is that if you're ever nostalgic about his matches you only ever need to watch one.
Harold is either dead or in prison.
Still the most shockingly under-viewed video on the site.
Actually it might be this. It's definitely one of them.
The second one.
Of course Flair isn't dead. Why would he be.
What a pro. Always selling.
How is everyone on this forum somehow a wrestling fan?
Almost as if wrestling peaked twenty years ago when most of us were kids.
Wrestling?
He's my favourite mortgage broker.
Nah, nerd culture (and lets be real, there's nothing nerdier than being so invested in a game that you post in the off-topic section of a football manager forum) and wrestling have a big crossover.
Also wrestling was insanely popular in the late 90s/early 00s when most of the people posting on this forum/making content on the internet generally would have been in their prime demographic. In the US alone 3% of the population watched WWE or WCW live every week during those years. The most watched show in the entire country (Survivor) at the time only got just above double that. Friends got less than double and it's still culturally relevant. Monday Night Football's audience was around the same. If you said that WWE is half as popular as the NFL, that's still a shit ton of people.
Yeah, the wrestling thing is nostalgic, although I do think I'd still be able to watch 90s wrestling. It is genuinely funny at times.
Not understanding why hip hop is popular, though... I dunno. Do you get why white people might like blues or funk?
I think I liked wrestling in that era but it stayed there.
Like muggers I struggle to understand the continued interest into adulthood.
If Igor is to be belived, he's a white man from Ireland who will pick up his pension in the next decade or so. The 'I don't know anyone who likes Hip hop' thing makes sense.
From what I see (I only watch Wrestlemania/Royal Rumble but have an ongoing knowledge of what's going on through osmosis) it seems to be a lot of people coming back to it after a long time away and it's their version of being able to talk about what happened in sports last night, not many are super dedicated to it but it's a fun conversation to have.
Friends got way more than six percent of the country watching it. They went over fifty million a few times and were above thirty for the most part.
In the US its probably the same audience that watches nascar. Ive literally never met anyone with even a passing interest in WWE, and the only thing that people know about it is Jooooooohn CEENAAAAA
I know a guy that's into Fred West and its made his night.
You ever ask people you meet whether they have a passing interest in WWE?
So what youre saying is that since I was using the ratings as a comparison measurement, theyd still be mathematically as popular as I stated. However, due to my interpretation, both are in fact more popular than I stated. Fucking fascinating. Thanks for contributing.
Post your tedious corrections on Wikipedia, at least its be of some interest.
You're at a very self-conscious age though.
I havent brought up WWE in real life in about a decade. But I could still name half the roster.
You've definitely got a handful of more enthusiastic wrestling fans on here that bring out the inner child in the rest of us.
Although, saying that, I'd happily stick on some classic wrestling from time to time if I'm chilling with people that also appreciate it.
Plus, Mokbull, you're like 18-23, aren't you? That's too young to appreciate the golden era.
Sounds like you just hang out with dweebs fella.
I don't even know why we're bothering to respond to a self-declared autist. Another slow night. This is when we need Haxball.
Alternatively you could try actually learning what things are and how they work before trying to claim authority on them.
I didn't care about the comparison, which is why I didn't mention it. Just that the Friends numbers were definitely off. I find it endlessly amusing how petulant and shitty you get when someone disagrees with or corrects you though, so carry on.
Rocket League fam @offy
I'm on now. OneTwoFree.
I can take it from anyone else, you'll see multiple posts from me apologizing for misreadings/mis-statements. You're just 1) a cunt about it 2) contribute literally nothing else but petty corrections to other peoples posts when you know exactly what they mean/imply, it's got boring after more than a decade so I will use each opportunity to call you a dull cunt.
Speaking of which, can aI get my username on here changed back?
Steam ye? I don't know how to group with people on PSN.
edit: No, sorry, I think it's funny. Ask Ital, Kiko or Yevrah, they have more empathy than I do.
I'll see where my levels of comittment are at. I'm terrible enough at RocketLeague to choose not to expose than terribleness to the wider public.
Bro I started playing last week, I didn't even know there was a handbrake until yesterday. You're chillin
It's got solid competition, but these latest rounds of phonics vs John have got to be some of the most tedious conflict this board has ever seen
