New Spider-Man trailer is out. Looks great. Heavy with Endgame spoilers.
Yeah the one I saw has Tom Holland at the start saying not to watch it if you've not seen Endgame yet.
I saw Endgame again yesterday because my friend wanted to see it, and another thing I meant to ask before:
Toggle Spoiler
Is there any sort of 'Marvel Universe' companion that details how its events have altered daily life? Even before the wild shit in this film, Thor being real would presumably have seen hundreds of millions of people convert to Norse paganism; Tony Stark has revolutionised several fields as after-thoughts; and then you have mass hysteria from aliens being real.
Wakanda bankrupting itself giving its neighbours technology only for them to use it hunting albinos and exhuming ebola victims.
I’m morbidly fascinated with this trailer. Mostly because .... wait .... is this going to be a movie? In 2019? Are any of you ever expecting to work again? This must be a prank, right?

Finally a film that addresses black female privilege head-on.
Joking aside, I genuinely really liked Soul Man. Loqueesha looks like a total misfire though.
I'm a twit
Whoever made that 'Trash talking' set in MS Paint needs a special effects Oscar.
John Wick
They're ridiculous films, but they speak to me.
It's not out until next week over here and I'm mad about it. It'll be the first one I see in cinemas.
Robert Pattinson is the new Batman
We have Whackin' Phoenix as the Joker so it's fair game.
Did Affleck even make a Batman film? Genuine question. I saw him mince about in the suit and then loads of internet dweebs complained. Why are DC so fucking shit?
John Wick
'Battinson' to be a winner.
I’m half way through my first rewatch of Edge of Tomorrow. It not only holds up but it’s actually better. It’s perfectly consistent.
I've watched it loads of times and I really like it.
The one with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt?
Yep.
I've been meaning to re-watch it. Really enjoyed it first time through.
Hearing huge whispers that Disney Marvel is getting Henry Cavill as Wolverine
It's a bullshit rumour that was started using a 'can you imagine if...' post on Twitter.
I’ve started watching the Marvel films. I’ve seen some before, but I’ll be starting from the beginning and doing the whole lot.
No browsing the internet while watching either, full attention will be given.
There's a Thor on Channel 4 at the minute but my EPG says Zoolander 2
That’s the first three films done. Not a great start it must be said. I’ll elaborate more when I’m back on my laptop probably.
Start a thread if you're going through them all.
It's Iron Man (alright), The Incredible Hulk (crap except for Tim Roth), and Iron Man 2 (crap except for Mickey Rourke).
I saw the Ang Lee Hulk and it was so bad that I couldn't bring myself to watch the other one. Wasn't the actor that played him literally called Bruce Banner or something?
Civil War is probably the best Captain America film in the trilogy surely?
Is that the Cold War one about the surveillance state with Robert Redford? That description is basically SEO for me to watch something and I turned it off after 40 minutes.
That was the one everyone went nuts over because Spiderman and Tom Holland.
Watching Arrival on Channel 4 at the moment. Seems very slow. I feel like this was very highly lauded here when it first came out.
It's not that good.
On the contrary, I thought it was one of the best films of the year.
Watched Baby Driver earlier.
Very good up until the end which I thought got a bit silly, but definitely good overall. The use of music was brilliantly done.
John Wick 3 doesn’t hit the heights of 1 but handily beats the sequel. It’s slightly too long, I didn’t enjoy Casablanca as a fighting location as the sets looked left over from Aladdin. Ian McShane isn’t very good in it somehow. Bonus points for featuring The Raid characters as the closest thing to beating John Wick. 9/10.
Eric Broadley and John Wyer spinning in their graves (looks good though).
Watched The Longest Yard for the first time in a few years earlier. It's good entertainment.
