Guys had a top quality QB with an arm cannon throwing it to him all of his career after just about getting drafted.
I guess we'll see how talented he really is with Derek Carr throwing to him instead.

So AB isn't good now because his QB was competent?
I'm not suggesting he's bad, but he's been on a high powered offence with good QB all his life.
Mr. Big Checks has been writing a lot of them with his mouth this off season and he's going to have a line of people waiting to cash in at this rate.
Seeing him flop would be wonderful.
It would be amazing if he's able to come back one day.
It'd be amazing if he could just live a normal, healthy life with full physical capacity, to be fair. Not sure anyone would sign off on letting him play again no matter how well he recovers, or if he'd even want to, but considering people were crying when Teddy stepped on the field again the entire stadium would probably drown itself if Shazier even put a helmet on again.
They'll take him on for a commemorative down, maybe for a QB kneel some time. That'll be about it.
Yeah. Not sure a player expected to thump folk he'd ever be allowed back even if he got back to an appropriate fitness and level of quality. He'd have to sign a slip basically signing off any right whatsoever to compensation. Even then the NFL might say no.
Coaching/PR seems/inspirational speaker seems more likely.
Fournette has been arrested for speeding & driving with a suspended license. He’s already had all the guaranteed money in his deal voided after last season.
We need a new place for players to go to die now the Browns are actually good.
Raiders although the Browns will still shit the bed.
Cincinnati, Washington & Detroit all seem like solid.contenders to me.
Miami & Oakland are the other ones, and probably the best options right now, but they both might actually have a plan, so they could be the first ones of the bunch to actually get their shit together. The other three just feel eternally stuck in nothingness.
Cincinnati are just perennial disappointments. The only season where they showed any promise was 2015 before Dalton broke his finger, and even then they managed to throw away that chance of a play off win.
Buffalo could also take that title. No one wants to play up in the frozen wastes really when you could be living it up in sunnier pastures with teams that actually have a chance.
The Browns have found a way to revert to shitness in the past, let's not write them off just yet.
Buffalo is a good shout in the meantime.
When your head coach has to come out and defend the place and insist people do actually want to come and sign for you, it's never a good sign.

Gadget plays ahoy.
Four years and $140 million, with $107 million guaranteed and includes a no-trade clause.
Woof, although he probably deserves it. He is their entire offense.
In the top 3 QBs in the league I'd say, so he was always getting paid.
100/1000/10 season incoming then I guess.
Not going to bother with Wembley this year but I might go to the two at Spurs.
I’m away for the Rams game (typical..) but I’ll do the other 3 and just find someone to use my ticket for that one.
I've still never been, but I do fancy it this year. Might see if I can make one at each.
Chiefs have paid BIG for Frank Clark.
First round pick this year, second round pick next year and swap of third round picks this year.
That's not much less than my boys paid for Odell, and Clark is on a tag so they'll still need to negotiate a contract with him won't they?
They've just announced it.
5 years, $105.5m with $63.5m guaranteed.
Wowzers. Chiefs are definitely trying to win now.
Frank Clark just dominated Kolton Miller at Wembley last season so I bet he’s delighted to get to face him twice a season now.
Yeah, he was all over him.
It was fascinating to watch, he had the beating of him almost every snap.
Lynch has retired again.
Lord Justin Tucker has also been given a new 4 year contract.
Draft tomorrow apparently
I'm going to watch it but I'm fully expecting us to trade down, possibly even to 32nd or out of the first round altogether.
Especially as a report has been 'released' stating that we're very interested in Josh Jacobs. That should scare the shit out of the Raiders who pick a couple after us and there should still be a handful of TOP PROSPECTS (all the WRs, OL guys and possibly Sweat/Ferrell) available for us to still take one and gather some extra picks.
Whispers of the Cardinals trading their number one pick to the Raiders
Redskins are rumoured to be moving up to the top 5 from 15 which would be a HEFTY price.
Last team to do that was the Eagles for Wentz. Traded from I think 14 to 2.
Clearly not convinced by Alex smiths recovery then.
I think Round 1 starts at 1am tonight, so no sleep for me
Really looking forward to it, and I've got tomorrow off to catch up on my sleep. I'm binge listening to the Around the NFL podcast today to get me in the mood.
Fuck watching the draft. It’s the most boring thing I’ve ever tried to sit through.
That it's a big draw as a televised event is reasonably high on my list of shit I simply cannot understand. Why you wouldn't watch literally anything else and just read results and stories as they come out is entirely beyond me.
I personally enjoy the event as it's nice to have something NFL related on TV through the long off-season. The coverage is generally detailed and in-depth, and I like to get a look at some of the lesser known names coming into the league, especially as I don't follow any college football.
Plus, David Akers made it all worth it last year (although admittedly that was the 2nd round).
Akers was the highlight of the draft.
Couldn't write it better after Pearson had given the Eagles fans in Philly shit the year before.
Just watch the Bleacher Report or Draft Network streams instead of the actual NFL coverage - they’ll also be slightly ahead on the picks, but I’m never sure whether I actually like that or not.
Anyone done a mock draft?
I'm really struggling with Tampa bay at 5. Absolutely no idea where they go. Probably a trade.
I have time to kill, so here are a couple of different first round mocks, a normal one & a spicy one:

Four hours to go.
I'm going to stay away from the chatter now but there seem to be a few picks in the top ten that are almost nailed on if the player is still there, and a couple that looked to be that might be suddenly swinging in a different direction.

I am 99% sure that we will trade down.
That is my mock.
The Cardinals are probably praying for someone to take Kyler Murray off their hands.
My money is on the Ravens or god fucking forbid the Dolphins or Jets
Why would we want a speedy QB who can't pass? We've already got one.
Edit: Oh and at least ours doesn't have the physique of a 14 year old.
