My man Cuauhtemoc Blanco.
Clint Dempsey, Demarcus Beasley.
Lukaku, Hazard, Fellaini.
Poland - Jakub Blaczyzyzyzyzyzkowski, Lewandowski, Boniek, Olisadebe, Krychowiak, Milik.
I'm sure Dempsey is their highest scorer and Beasley won't have that many, surely.
Eric Wynalda? He was in my big World Cup 1998 book as one of USA's big name players.
I'd have thought Landon Donovan would be top. He's got about four hundred caps. Third will be some div like Altidore. Actually who's that bald midfielder who played in Italy for a while? He must have a ridiculous number of caps too, so he probably has a few goals.
Postiga or Nuno Gomes for the Portuguese?
Vieri for the Italians?
Villa for Spain?
Roque Santa Cruz for Peru?
El Hadji Diouf for Senegal?
Michael Bradley @John
Salas, Zamorano and Sanchez for Chile
Wales
Hughes, Hartson, Speed, Saunders, John Charles, Earnshaw
Brazil
Ronaldo, Romario, Neymar, Bebeto
Chile
Salas
Spain
Torres, Raul, Silva, Di Stefano
Are you not thinking of the Aussie, Bresciano? He was a bald, white English speaker in Serie A.
Donovan could be a good should actually.
EDIT: If I knew that Michael Bradley had played in Serie A I had entirely forgotten.

Denmark - Lord Bendtner, Eriksen, Jon Dahl Tommason
Colombia - Hamez or Falcao
Chile - Vidal, Sanchez, Medel, Jara

Wasn't there an Iranian in Spain not too long ago? He's the only one I can think of within those years.
I reckon you've blundered on the Swedish entry. Zlatan and Henrik Larsson will be the top two, but they had loads of good goalscorers around the second world war and there's no chance some modern day whopper in their mess of a team has outscored them.
Karimi?
Ive checked the Swede and you are right. The date was wrong. The correct date for Sweden is 1942-1948
Age old Swede? Gonna be the one at AC Milan. Nordal of something like that!
Vargas for Chile
I don't think there's a hope of getting any others.
