Joe Allen surely never played with van Bronckhorst.
Joe Allen surely never played with van Bronckhorst.
Matty Upson
Jermaine Pennant?
None of the above are correct.
Balls, I forgot that Baros played for Villa.
Here's one:
Jari Litmanen
Fernando Torres
Glen Johnson
Emmanuel Petit
Thomas Hitzlsperger
Emile Heskey
Jesper Gronkjaer?
Ajax for Jari
Chelsea for Johnson, Petit
Birmingham for Heskey
Stuttgart for Hitzlsperger
Guessing Atlético for Torres but don’t recall him pitching up there?
Yep, he was at Atletico for the latter half of the season in 2004/2005
I’ll give this a go then I guess
Robbie Fowler
Colin Hendry
Charles N’Zogbia
Nolberto Solano
Harry Kewell
Gary Neville
I bet it's someone English (Neville) who played at Newcastle (Solano, N'Zogbia) around 04/05 as that's the only years Solano and N'Zogbia overlap.
Fowler and Kewell played at Leeds around the same time I'd guess?
So it'd probably be something like Leeds 02-03, Newcastle 04-05..... Hendry played at Blackburn apparently from like 91-98.
Blackburn, Leeds, Newcastle.... Hm.
David Batty played for all those but probably in the wrong order.
Ashley Young
Fraizer Campbell
James Milner
Nope. Might wanna consider Colin Hendry there...
I dont know Colin Hendry
Jenas
Lee Bowyer
Michael Ricketts? With a special shout out to his one single England cap in 2002?
Nope to all of those. One cap wonder might be a thing though....
@SincereTheRebel you’ve just made feel immensely old. Geezer was iconic in the nineties.
What age is Sincere?
I thought he was around my age or maybe a little older. I remember Colin Hendry.
Is it Chris Kirkland?
Bingo!
Robbie Fowler - Liverpool
Colin Hendry - Coventry
Charles N’Zogbia - Wigan
Nolberto Solano - Leicester
Harry Kewell - Liverpool
Gary Neville - England
lol not even close with the clubs at all my bad
Ivan Campo
Adrian Mutu
Marcel Desailly
John Arne Riise
John Carew
Paolo Maldini
In case people want something to mull over at work...
Ronaldo (Nazario de Lima, the proper one)
Freddy Rincon
Georgi Kinkladze
Wim Jonk
Sebastien Frey
Dean Saunders
Alen Boksic
Ah hadn't seen that from @Boydy - oh well, couple to chew over and one I can participate in
I've spent about half hour staring at Boyd's and nothing. Benito Carbone for Merse's?
Cudicini
Crespo
Veron
Gronkjaer
Desailly.
Probably all wrong because of fucking Campo though.
That second one's definitely fucking Carbone. Bradford, Wednesday, Inter, Parma, Boro and I think Derby. Fuck knows when he played with Rincon. Somewhere in Italy.
Boyd's is horrendous. Martin Laursen is as close as I can get. 3 from 6 I think.
Bosh.
Ivan Campo - Real, Valencia, Bolton, Ipswich
Adrian Mutu - Parma, Chelsea, Fiorentina, Romania
Marcel Desailly - Milan, Marseille, France, Chelsea
John Arne Riise - Fulham, Roma, Norway, Liverpool
John Carew - Norway, Villa, Valencia, Roma, Lyon, Stoke
Paolo Maldini - Milan & Italy
Panucci?
Hold on...Christian Panucci?
Edit: You horrible bastard. I've spent ages on that
Haha, sorry @Mellberg
It's actually kept me up. For an age I was trying to think of Chelsea's Italians, couldn't find any with the links and got there by focusing on Real, Roma and Milan instead.
Same, led me right up the garden path. Finally cracked it with Spaniards at Milan and Italians at Madrid as Campo and Maldini didn't sit right for whatever reason.
ffs, forgot that Panucci played for Chelsea.
FWIW Wim Jonk gave Carbone away big time. Only associate him with Wednesday and then Boksic led me to Italy and Lazio (thought Di Canio at first). Once Saunders was linked to Bradford it unravelled from there. Good game. Time for bed.
Yeah, it was Panucci.
Mario Balotelli
Mamadou Sakho
Yohan Cabaye
Wesley Sneijder
Rafael Van Der |Vaart
Park Ji-sung
Georgios Samaras
Juanfran
Royston Drenthe
David Beckham
Franco Di Santo
Edit: Ugh, didn't see Boydy's list.
I wont be around until about 12 so don't get all pissy when I don't reply.
