What bullshit.
You'll see new superstars...
More call ups from NXT that are wasted, yay?
Can't sleep and just checked what's happening via Twitter and they've called up 6.
Tucker and Dozovic They should go to RAW and do something but they'll do nothing
EC3 could be useful but he's a bit dull on the mic and wasn't used much on NXT, which might mean good things on the main
Nikki Cross is brilliant and could really shake up the women's division (on RAW hopefully)
Lacey Evans, I just can't see working. I'm not a huge fan of her character but at least it's different however I just can't see it getting over in the main. Oh and I feel it's way too early for her.
I'm surprised they didn't call up Velveteen (maybe HHH is hoarding him so Vince doesn't ruin him) as he is gold.
Rollins and Ambrose was disappointing, just never got up to full speed and featured the knee bollocks we'd discussed. I think it suffered from the stilted build to an extent, Ambrose spent a lot of time taunting Rollins, trying to be methodical, etc. which is always gonna work better when there's some heat to the feud.
I only had chance for a few minutes of Raw before heading to work.
"Now YOU [the crowd] are the Authority!" Erm, okay.
Jezza has just come out though so I expect he'll be getting a shoeing. Christ knows where he goes now.
The last few weeks of an authority figure making bullshit matches have been why Raw is terrible, so we're kicking off a new era with four authority figures turning a singles into a handicap! Also people liked that Tyler Breeze match in NXT so get him out there this week, that'll do it.
My favourite part is how Lars Sullivan has gone from the hottest free agent lurking and probably slurring ethnics to just one of the group of panic NXT callups.
I think NXT might be enabling the main roster shitness. It provides a steady stream of popular, established wrestlers who've been inculcated into the WWE way of doing things. It props up the main roster and lessens the consequences of their short term booking strategy.
Ruined half your tag division or split them up after five minutes for a cheap boost that is forgotten about two weeks later? Nevermind, here's a heap of new ones so you can begin the process again. Why go to the bother of making the effort to rebuild (for example) Chad Gable when you can grab someone off the NXT shelf?
In short, please don't bury Dozovic and his amazing face/body shape.
They're clearly going to make Dozovic into some comedic character probably involving a steak throwing wrestling match as soon as they can.
Fiver on Lars Sullivan eventually debuting as the newest arrival from Planet Funk, Emmalina as one of his Freakadactyls.
Fuck 'Nattie'.
I'd have preferred anyone in the match over her, even Dana fucking Brooke.
At what point does her push due to her Dad's death finish?
I watched a couple of Takeovers last night. There was one incredibly fat man who had so much back hair it actively put me off watching.
This guy, just disgusting. Hate Vince all you like but I don't think he'd allow such back hair in the proper show.
Albert would disagree with you.
I can smell him through jpegs. Foul.
Raw wasn't dreadful but it was a hilarious, misguided and transparent attempt to fix what they think the problems are.
I considered staying up for it for Vince, but I'm glad he didn't if all he did was that BS at the start.
And he barely had any part of that either.
Fuck me that was bad, it didn't even make any sense.
We're the authority now mates.
The message seemed to be This thing we're in complete control of and have been for decades is rubbish so we're taking back control!
Maybe they just see the projections for the end of quarter and are trying to get in front of it for the sHaReHoLdErS.
Ali could be massive on Smackdown if they don't decide to turn him into a terrorist heel character.
Him pinning Daniel Bryan is pretty damn awesome.
Him almost killing him then audibly apologising during the pin was somewhat less awesome.
Yeah, that bit was great and a little shocking as he very rarely fucks anything up especially his 054.
Knowing Daniel and his penchant for getting his chest chopped to fuck he probably didn't mind it.
I must have missed this promo at the time, either by accidentally winding past or or just an episode I didn't watch, the dig at Ambrose after about 40 seconds is absolute gold.
Love Tonga Jeff.
He's so good on the microphone.
I hope he gets a title run next year, he deserves it.
I loved the bit from before his match with Lesnar where he corners Heyman and calmly tells him what's about to happen too
Yeah, that was awesome. So good.
Give him all of the belts except the womens'
I think a lot of the things Samoa Joe says are very good but delivered very badly. Then I watch that Heyman clip and the moment they go 'off mic' they sound human and Joe seems terrifying. Is it a Vince forcing them thing or just the way you have to deliver to a crowd? I've always been awful at understanding stuff over PA systems so maybe it's an accessibility thing?
Then have a no-dq fatal fourway where for every time you pin Samoa Joe you win one of his titles in ascending order, if you win a title you have to exit the match. Now that's a fucking storyline with a finish.
Becky vs Asuka booked for Rumble.
Strange decision and kills Ronda Becky (and Charlotte) for Mania.
Guess it's Charlotte to win the Rumble and take on Ronda.
I assume it's something like the latter because I think he is consistently excellent.
I don't think it kills anything. Between the Rumble winner choosing their own brand, impromptu roster shuffles, etc. they're still able to book whatever they fancy without it stretching what passes for their rules much.
People lose title shots and enter the rumble all the time too...
I will be stunned it Shafir and Duke actually do anything in WWE.
Only signed because of Ronda and the potential of 'FOUR HORSEWOMAN CLASH OF THE TITANS'.
They were crap in MMA, Duke is awkward, neither can cut a promo (not such a big deal) but the main thing is that they can't do a good mean face. Duke in particular just looks like a goofy weirdo when she tries.
They also need a LOT of work based on their NXT debut which was with two of the better women in the company.
Wrestlemania plans back on maybe
In a tweet posted by Paige on Friday afternoon, the outgoing SmackDown LIVE General Manager acknowledged that she had attempted to make one final SmackDown Women's Championship Match between Asuka and Becky Lynch before leaving her position.
Despite her best efforts, she explained that the match she created is not official for the Jan. 27 pay-per-view.
Gargano/Black cage match
The match was great but the ending put it over the top.
Nice. Sling your CV to Vince and get a media job that matters. I agree on his delivery, too. Before I watched the videos I expected the usual Joe stuff of starting quiet, going loud and then going quiet again. Like a slightly distinguished Psycho Syd. And I feel like, "Ya know" should be rationed in promos.
EDIT: Lewis nailed it. Also, I'm checking every Blair speech out for that.
If I won the lottery I would pay somebody to make a massive YouTube compilation of every Triple Haitch 'You know...'
I've got some free time. I'll think about it.
Watching RAW now and I'm surprised that they didn't make the Lucha House Party ask for a lawnmower and a blanket to go along with their grande pinata.
Thought they had stopped with the gimpy Ronda eye makeup...
Edit: That Ronda match was by far her worst, they somehow managed to book it worse than the MITB match with Nia.

Tama Tonga has invited Simon Miller to join the Bullet Club. Did not see that coming...
He's only been doing this five minutes and he's been injured for four of them.
The best tag match of this or probably any other year is free on YT. Happy Christmas dickheads.
I assume you didn't watch the Lucha House rules matches with The Revival.
