Hakan Sukur or Basturk
Hakan Sukur or Basturk
The Turk surely must be Hakan Sukur or Rustu Recber?
EDIT: ah never head of that fucker.
Pepe for the Portugese? Or Nani?
2004 must be a Porto player. Mendes? Carvalho?
Schweinsteiger and Andrea Pirlo
None of those. One of them is a goalkeeper.
Ter Stegen

Good one, pretty difficult actually.
Some of the names on there are crazy.
Sneijder was scorching in 2010. He should have won the whole thing
I forgot Cannavaro played for Madrid.

Jens Lehmann being in is surprising. Maybe that was the year he saved all those penalties on route to the champions league final.
Here's a quick one for you to give Sincere a break. Can you name the clubs with the most Champions League group stage appearances per each letter of the alphabet since football began in 1992.
To be clear, I'm using the commonly used English name for clubs (so stuff like 'FC' doesn't count).
You also need to identify the two letters of the alphabet that have never had a qualifier, and for one of the letters, the most apps is shared by six clubs - because I'm a bastard, name all six.
Arsenal
Man United
Barcelona
Real Madrid
Inter
Zenit
Arsenal
Barcelona
Chelsea
I can't think of a team beginning with Q or J
edit - lol, except for Juventus
Q and Z have to be the two without one.
The other one must be X
Heerenveen?!
Porto?
Shakhtar ?
Going back that far Celtic might beat Chelsea too
L is probably either Liverpool or Lyon
Porto
Olympiakos
Galatasaray
Valencia
Werder Bremen
Young Boys
Arsenal (19)
Barcelona (23)
Chelsea (15)

I can only think of Utrecht for the other U, but I'm not sure they've ever made the Champions League
I can only think of Tottenham Hotspur for T but get the feeling I'm missing something obvious.
There's Trabzonspor - they've been in a few times, not sure if it's more than Spurs.
Tottenham correct with a measly 4 (Trabzonspor, Twente and Thun 1 each).
Fenerbahce
Feyenoord

Kaiserslautern
Dynamo Kiev
Dynamo Moscow
Newcastle
Nantes
Napoli
Fener, Kaiser, Napoli, Dynamo Kiev all correct.
Just need E and J.
That means somehow, E is the last one without any teams? That's mental.
Eintract Frankfurt
