Just played an absolute dickhead who insisted on watching every replay, celebration and pausing it for the full allotted time.
He was shit, but somehow went 3-1 up, I went all out attack in the second half and won 5-4. So satisfying.

Having a CM (Guilavogui) with Med/High workrates makes a massive difference to Kondogbia. Werner has clicked, Bellarabi is a joy and Kalou a nice addition.
Need one more 2 goal win to get Guilavogi's Futswap card as well, which is nice.
I don't know whether to go for the Pedro with all the Futswap tokens, or pick up someone like Guilavogui and get a big pack with the rest. Pedro probably wouldn't start on the right ahead of POTM Lucas, so not sure if it's worth it for a super-sub.

Bought Fabregas for 3.9K and sold for 10K.
Bought Kompany for 9K and sold for 21K.
Okay how do you decide on picking these players up? That's like 400k profit in one night if I'm working that out right.

I am certainly no expert in trading but I have been picking up Fabregas every time he drops below 4K and Kompany every time he drops below 10K (this has usually been on Thursday's when the WL rewards drop), I have then been selling them the next day for 1-3K profit each. Plan for tomorrow is to finish off Tah and do all the value pack SBCs down to Jumbo Gold Premiums, which should take me to 40 or 50 to open.

Sincere, are you still using the compact strikers and midfielders drop back approach? I was getting great success with it early doors but it seems absolutely useless now and most of my success lately is when I go all out in the second half.
Makes me want to go with defenders with ludicrous pace when I finally build the first team and just sit on the halfway line.
I see Manolas has 95 pace and acceleration with a Shadow. He and RTTF Florenzi could be incoming.
How long are the RTTF players in packs for?
I keep one striker on balanced now. The LF and RF are still on come back. It is still working well for me. Im still getting to gold 2 in weekend league. When i lose though, I lose my a wide margin. What i find now is there is too much of a gap between the midfield and defence. Opposition strikers often drop into the space between and cause havoc. I should probably adjust.

I want passing nerved. It is still far too accurate, especially one touch ping pong passing between players.
I think they've only nerfed it when you receive the ball from a weird angle and do it on the turn.
7-1-7 in my pursuit of Tah now. It's been enjoyable and is definitely a proper challenge, but I can't wait to get back to my actual team. Levekusen had better go balls deep in the Europa League.
Also when a defender is approaching from in front as well. Should help with the top of the boxers anyway.
Racked up 6800 odd SB points letting the AI play out quick 5-0 amateur leads today whilst working to make sure I get that FUT Swap card as I’d like Guilavogui in the club. Looking at the ranks the past few weeks it seems not many people are bothering with it now, so I’m hopeful that with a few games in later in the week whilst doing other things I can sit tight in Gold 1 or 2 and grab some more effort free reward packs for Monday.

Be warned with Florenzi, I absolutely love him as a defender and right back in general. However his height at the back post has been exposed a fair few times for me. It's for this reason I'm looking at that TOTW Meunier to pair with my red Marquinhos.

I'm in a similar boat, largely because of Nepenthez stating what a beast he is. I haven't because nearly 600k for a player that's a bugger to link (thus locking me into the same sort of team for the rest of the year) is a huge turn off.

Finally finished my placement matches and I got into division 6 (my penultimate game I was against someone shit and I knew I could beat him but I got kicked and then I lost 8-4 in the final one).
Just played my first division 6 match and easily won 5-1. Could have been a lot more too and it pushed me up into division 5.
