English youth prospects seem to be heading to Germany en masse at the moment. It can only be good for them too, rather than rotting in the reserves of Premiership teams.

I'm suspicious of how good they all look over there. I'm not saying they're not each the second coming, but Nelson, Lookman & Sancho have all scored at ridiculous rates over there despite barely getting the slightest look-ins at OUR clubs.
The Bundesliga is a joke league. It's a slightly better Holland. Watch it, everyone apart from the annual token defensive team (used to be Cologne, don't know who it is now) plays with mental high lines and no one does any defending.
If you have anyone with a bit of pace they will destroy it with all the space that opens up. That said, the Premier League is rapidly going in the same direction, so whatever.
First on MoTD? What is this madness?
Eddie Howe, as well as being a people trafficker, has shit hair, given the natural riches available to him in that area. Why would you have a weird fringe like that? It makes him look like an alt right activist.
Rondon is one of those players that is far to good to be wasting his time at the West Broms and Newcastles of the world, but at the same time isn't good enough to play for a team that other teams treat with any kind of defensive respect.
He's got a presence about him. I just wish he'd link up more. We looked pretty good, mind. Fernandez is a good find, even if he was lucky with the penalty call.
Charlie Austin’s interview on MOTD is boss!
I love how the interviewer's line of questioning gets thrown by it.
I'm flying today so will miss us being demolished by MAN BLUE.
I thought EL MASSIVO was the early kick-off. Oh well.
Pogba's injured apparently. Oof.
The old rope-a-dope.
(Mitrovic was probably onside)
Shaqiri is boss.
‘Boss’ is an awful word. Is it Scousers only who use it?
What a shame - first 40 minutes we looked fairly well drilled and created a couple of good breakaway chances. Then the shitshow that is the Salah goal happens, and we just drift into nothingness for the rest of the game.
Guess it is something to work on over the break, but it would have been interesting to see how the game panned out had Mitro's goal stood.
lol (boss).
Rudiger, fucking embarrassing dive
I fucking hate Yerry Mina. Spent most of this year seething about him.
Waiting for the otherwise disappointing Everton striker to come off the bench and nick this 1-0. Cenk Tosun springs to mind.
Ah no, here he is. Ademola Lookman. 28 games, 3 goals. The perfect credentials.
that parklife vid is stunning
The diving by Alonso and Morata. Fucking hell.
Yerry Mina is going to give away about 10 penalties this season.
The one with Mina on Morata was a blatant pen, no idea how the ref didn't give that. Rest of the second half was a long-play tape of Morata being a spacker.
Still, thought it was weird how much Everton seemed to value the 0-0. Wheeling Phil Jagielka on with 20 minutes to go. You expect the likes of Burnley to do that, but I dunno.
When was the last football match without a minute's silence?
Probably when Sainsburys played Germany in 1914.
Always forget how good City are when I don't see them play for a few weeks
Herrera must've given the ball away more than 10 times today.
I return to my long held view that Aubameyang isn't very useful when he misses the sitter from 3 yards out.
He seems to be fair support for the 'Bundesliga is a joke league' theory from further up the page.
Copa Libertadores final has been pretty fun.
Its on Freesports.
The pace of the game was frigthening. Ref had a blinder.
How had I never seen this one?
Daniel Sturridge has been charged by the FA for gambling offences, however he/Liverpool have denied any wrongdoing, saying he’s ‘never bet on football’
Just tell me there's a t-shirt campaign in the works.
He's going to have told someone he was off on loan and they'll have put a bet on it, would be my guess.
I'll assume the scouse army will break out the black armbands and the Justice 4 Sturridge shirts.
Jokanovic gone, Ranieri in.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46205801
Whoa. I didn't expect this. Not sure how to feel about Jokanovic going, we did have such a good team to watch for 2 seasons in the Championship. However, the fact we've replaced him with Ranieri and not some useless British donkey of a manager from the Prem merry-go-round does fill me with some hope.
Just the man for a relegation crisis.
Although the last time I thought that his team only went and won the bloody league.
Circle of life.
First and worst.
Claudio though. What a man.

Boss
Wasn't Benzema also EXPOSED for paying all of his taxes like a mug?
