Down like a sack of shite.
This angle is even better. Giving it the big lad too

I played football at university a few times with a Chechen, and people used to moan like fuck at him for never passing it. Not me though. I knew better than to wind those sort of people up, let alone go on a roadshow mocking them and goading them with booze.
Russian knackers definitely dress better than Irish knackers.
Jones v Gustafsson 2 main event for UFC 232 in December according to Ariel Helwani.
Lewis/Cormier seems a bit pointless since the latters head is a brick. Will be a proper abomination.
I tend to agree, but he hasn't taken a proper shot since that head kick from Jones and that's the sort of finish that can wreck your chin. Look at Chuck after Rashad biffed him, he seemed to age about ten years overnight, and by the time he fought Franklin he got knocked out by something he'd have walked through ten of before.
Huge fan of Khabib’s post regarding the whole situation. I want a war.
Where does McGregor go from here? He has amped up the arrogant, aggressive, banter act since the Mayweather fight, but that surely can’t continue after being completely embarrassed.
I only want UFC when I'm told to and this event was a fight I watched. The UFC seems much more forgiving than boxing. From what I've seen from Connor, he is a good winner and loser. Him quitting in his UFC fights isn't a good look though and given his promotional antics, it is embarassing. Saying that I think he will still be in big UFC if he is interested.
I'm not up to speed on the UFC at all and could probably name about 5 fighters in total.
He lost but it wasn't really embarrssing was it? He looked to be getting back into it when he got caught. Anyway, none of that matters because people will still pay to see him fight so as long as he wants to go again there'll be another fight. Disregard everything from the build up because that's just everybody shouting loud enough to sell the ppv.
Demetrious Johnson has signed with One and Ben Askren has gone to the UFC in, effectively, a trade.
Big fight tonight. Hoping for a DC win, I would love to see him win tonight and then retire on a win vs Brock.
That was the craziest finish in UFC history.
I fucking love Donald Cerrone.
That fight was fucking special. Reminded me of McDonald/lawler in 2015. Whole fight was a highlight reel.

I tuned in to the BT Sport rerun last night as Cerrone was doing his walk. Perfect timing really, both of those fights were well worth watching. I have no idea how Yair Rodriguez even thought about that elbow, but it was incredible.
One Championship coming to Vietnam next year
Chuck Liddell will surely die sooner rather than later.
Let's not go that far.
Let's get it booked.
Cejudo v Dillashaw for the Flyweight belt confirmed. For a piddling Fight Night show in the middle of January.
I reckon Dillashaw was on the mark when he said they want rid of the division.
Holloway looked unreasonably good in that.
Enjoyable night of fights. Holloway was very impressive.
Frank Mir broke his alveolar ridge last night. Basically five broken tooth sockets. He thought he'd just dislodged a tooth and went in to try and pull it out so he could continue, but that just separated the fracture and made it worse, so he quit.
Fuck me, that's hardcore.
USADA believe it's a trace amount leftover from 2017.
Sounds about right...
Those fans who have tickets for this event must be fuming.
UFC will be on the hook for reimbursing people, surely.
Seems a bit mad to pop him for a result measured in picograms. One picogram is one one trillionth of a gram, so there's no way whatever it is can even influence his performance. I'm actually surprised their equipment is testing for things in such small quantities.
What is the level of Turinabol that would affect his performance? This isn't aimed at you, but a lot of fans turn into scientists when something like this happens.
I'd question why this was only uncovered a week before the fight if it's been in his system for 18 months? At best that's an incompetent drug testing programme and very convenient that there's no time for a full investigation.
Either way, he's been popped in 3 of his last 4 fights now, there's just no way he's a clean athlete.

UFC 232 Pre Fight Press Conference
Jon Jones never comes across as likable to me but the fans lap it up.
Yeah we do.
He’s the best fighter on the planet, how could people not like that? Sure he gets coked up and runs over pregnant women, but in the octagon he’s an excellent watch.
I'm a twit

Novitzky revealed that Jones first tested positive for trace amounts of a longterm metabolite of oral turinabol in an Aug. 29 drug screening conducted by USADA. That test discovered eight picograms of the oral turinabol metabolite in Jones’ system and followed an Aug. 9 drug screening that came back clean. Novitzky said that Jones’ next drug test, on Sept. 18, also came back positive for 19 picograms of the same longterm oral turinabol metabolite.
After that, four consecutive drug tests came back clean for Jones — on Sept. 21, Oct. 2, Oct. 11, and Nov. 14 — before the longterm metabolite reemerged in an out-of-competition USADA test collected on Dec. 9 in the range of 60 to 80 picograms.
What does all that suggest?
I'm a twit
Micro-dosing perhaps?
Also, that the UFC are doing whatever they can to make sure this fight goes ahead seeing as he's failed at least 4/5 tests (all marginal but still) and they've tried to cover it up.
He's such a dick.
I really hope Gus knocks him out.

Will be watching the event tomorrow night at a friend's house with a couple of IRL friends and a special guest star of this parish. As someone who knows next to nothing about UFC, what do I need to know?
Fights to look out for? How much of the undercard do i need to watch? etc etc
Ideally use wrestling terminology where possible.
Watch Arlovski on the undercard and marvel at his nose:
Jon Jones won't change.
Terrific stuff from Uriah Hall earlier. Thats some counter.
