I bought some 'Lobster Cocktail' crisps from Iceland that are actually just really strong prawn cocktail. They're pretty ace.
I'm making Malaysian achar today to go with the coconut rice, tamarind prawns, anchovy peanut sambal & fried eggs i'm having on Friday. Love Rick Stein so much.
James' crisps are so pretentious every one of them come in the shape of one of Merses' tattoos.
James is correct, they're great.
They also shred the inside of your mouth making them doubly effective.
Actually Boydy is only slightly right. The chicken wing ones in the same brand are even nicer.
I've not tried any flavour other than the jalapeno cheese ones. They're pretty much perfect so there's no point trying the others.
Lime and chilli are also ace. Not had the wasabi ones.
Ready Salted is the don. Suck all of your mothers.
The salt & vinegar chips are great but difficult to consume without dying.
All three of those flavours are excellent. I do about a tenner on them every time they're on special.
Tried the chicken wings ones today. They are not better than the jalapeno and cheese. I'm disappointed tbh.
Are you still up north? Hard to pass up those purple bags of rough cuts. Can't remember the name.
Yeah. Not sure which ones those are, never tend to go for rough cuts. I'll look out for them though.
What's a rough cut?
A line of cocaine with rat poison in it.
Looks like someone stuck some McCoys in a Nik-Naks bag.
Your mileage may differ but Golden Wonder were the crisps when I was growing up. Then in the mid 90's they were supplanted by Walkers who had different coloured bags. I never thought I'd get used to salt and vinegar in a green packet (that's cheese and onion) but here we are.
I loved the red sauce flavoured ones.
Every now and then the vending machines at work have these Guinness crisps, never seen them in a shop anywhere but if I do, I'm stocking up.
These bad boys?
I had a big bag once from the supermarket and they were mega.
That's the one, although not the chili flavour:

I'm trying to talk myself out of buying crisps from Amazon now

Have we gone too far here?
Or ?
Martin Murray’s (local boxer) food place is round the corner from my work so going today for dinner. Sounds great!
I'm a twit
If the Wasabi ones are the only ones you haven't had then you've had all the good ones. Don't waste your time with them.
I just ate a whole pack of the cheese and chilli ones on the walk home and now my burps smell horrendous/nice depending on how much of a sick fuck you are.
curry.
Not a fan of chips and rice. One or the other for me. And, if you’re going chips, you want chunky fuckers so the sauce has something to soak into.
I was pushed for time so wanted them to cook quick.
Yes Giggles son
First kebab in two months
That looks fucking quality. What's the pinker of the meat again? Is it the normal stuff with a flavouring in it?
Red donner meat, added spicing. Its a Northern England thing
I need it in my life next time I'm that direction.
Having caught up with everyone else on the crisp front I can now confirm that the jalapeno & cheese are the best followed by lime & chilli. Chicken wing are the the worst by a distance.
Any crisp with lime being better than any other is clearly wrong anyway.
Lies. These are amazing:
What Disco posted is indeed the correct order.
The chicken wing ones are better than not having any of them available but I'd never pick them if either of the other two were there.
My local shop only has the cheese & onion and paprika available in the Max now. Pricks.

I'm ordering Chinese.
Should I get:
Xiamen Noodles
Singapore Noodles
Chicken Fried Rice (My original choice but the picture seems to have parsley on it?)
I've got some Thai coming. Trying something called a Penang Curry, which I've not had before
Penang curry is spot on.
