That's what happens when you have contacts that aren't worth the paper they're written on. It probably costs them a $10-25k signing bonus to take a flier on a guy. If they like what they see they've hit a jackpot, if they don't set the world alight, it's easy to write it off.

Right now Jalen Hurts is going to go the same way as JT Barrett & Quinton Flowers, and either be a third string QB or a shit running back at the NFL level. If he has any ambition of playing QB at the next level he has to transfer & show he can actually do the job.
