There you go Sincere.
First question, which version will you be buying?

Not sure yet may not bother.
I usually just buy the regular version however ill review the options and see what comes with the bundles.
any new features or game modes? Penalty shootout mode would be good.
They have stuff like headers and volleys, long range (outside the box goals count for double) and no rules which are quite fun when you've got friends round.
They've also got the Champions League licence this time.
Also shooting, well low driven shots, are hard as fuck.
Crossing and corners are OP as fuck.
Low driven's being nerfed is good news.
Driven passes have also been nerfed, again probably for the best.
The passing stats in 18 were the most useless by a country mile, so I welcome that too.
Passing was too easy. Also
I hope they've changed things so that only acrobats can do acrobatic shit.
In the beta anyone and everyone could do bicycle kicks/mental shit. Was a bit strange seeing someone like Phil Jones clear the ball with a bicycle kick every single time.
I often wonder what the philosophy is behind FIFA. Like, the actual football theory. I think they want some kind of fantasy football where you can pull off cool shit with anyone so Phil 'Spectacular' Jones might still be in effect.
Promes in a proper league? Sweet lord get him, Ben Yedder and Dembele for the front line of OP dreams.
Anyone found a good deal for the physical version anywhere?
Remember the year supermarkets all did it for £20. Was amazing.
Is £70 the going rate for this? I don't think I have ever paid more than £40 for a game.
Standard games are £50 now if you buy them on or close to release day. Games like FIFA wont drop in price until May or June either as they know people will pay it.
£50 for the standard version, £70 for the Champions Edition, £90 for the Ultimate Edition.
I think I’m going to go for the super ultimate edition. Ultimate + 12k of FIFA points.
I think I might just do the same.
Where are you getting it from?
Amazon are doing the Ultimate for £85.49 right now.
I can't fathom spending that much on a game. More power to you, I guess.
Digital only, correct?
Yeah, they send you the code at midnight release date.
Pre-ordered Ultimate with the EA access and early bird discounts a few months back, £80 I think direct to console.Yeh, it's a lot, and I'll also plough in £50 in week 1 and a further £50 at Futmas but this accounts for >75% of my gaming these days, so as a total outlay I'd imagine it's quite relative. I'll probably only buy Red Dead of this years other releases as I have the likes of Halo 5, the newest Deus Ex and Tomb Raiders and the last LOTR game all completely unplayed downloaded on my Xbox.
The pick up and play, whilst still having depth and longevity elements of FUT have null and voided all those other gaming exploits of the past.

I always buy the standard version. I should buy the versions with 12k FIFA points as im a coin collector, but I never do.
The digital download does seem tempting.
They have just added Giggs and Ballack in FIFA 19.
Giggs
Here are some nice looking Icons they posted today:
Best is also returning.
Socrates is about 6'10. Still no sign of Recoba, Davids and some bad player like Chilavert

He's a big lad, yeah.
And his card stats look brilliant.
Which icons from 18 are we losing?
Scholes looks disappointing. I suspect the long shots will be scorching though.
i hope I get Georgie Best this go 'round though I think the best player I've literally ever had in FUT was an in form Mario Gotze in '14 or '15 (world cup mode notwithstanding)

It's basically all of the legends in FIFA17 then?
Every Icon from 18 is back, plus the new/returning ones they've announced
Klose the next one
need more full-backs.
Look at the alleged 74 icons. I can count about 3 fullbacks in Roberto Carlos, Zanetti and Puyol.
Maldini and Petit have lower cards that are LB but really there should be a couple more
We should have a nice collection of fullbacks. Look how many central players we have in midfield.
