Get it into my fucking veins
Get it into my fucking veins
Apparently they've had more people working on this than they had on Witcher 3 and we all know how good that game was. Can't wait.
So is the idea here to take the Witcher and move it into the future?
When you're on a good thing.
Want.

Love CDPR.
Yes. Yes to all of that.
Complete character creator. I'm gonna be that corporate suit-guy in my first playthrough, and the netrunner girl in my second.

Coming out for Switch?
hahahahahahahaha
I'm going to create a character as close to a present day type as I can. And play it like it's a reverse Life on Mars.
Looks amazing

Hurry up and let me fling my money at you.
Saw a one-line comment about that @Bernanke. Pretty cool.
I want this game.
The gameplay demo is apparently being streamed in Twitch right now. Gonna have to catch this later.
It looks so good

The stream's done so that's the link to the video, once you skip the first 9 hours or so.
That looks amazing
I need this fucking game. I knew that before I watched the video but now...
*blows dust off the thread*
Attention! CDPR will be at E3 in the public zone with Cyberpunk 2077. Which means, presumably, some small chunk of it will be playable for normos.
Hopefully this means the game isn't too far away. A man can dream.
EDIT: God damn it.
CDPR say it won't be playable for normos, the public zone thing is for gameplay presentations for the public. Which is good-ish news I guess.
*sob*

Going off scuttlebutt, it was at E3 judges week so I imagine there's a playable demo out there but the plebs won't get their hands on it.
April 16th 2020
That's too long.
Even for CyberKeanu.
John Wick 2077
So after the E3 demo RPS and others had criticised it with issues they perceived regarding transphobia and that one of the predominantly black gangs is called "The Animals." Which given CDPR's record with not being a bit backwards on some of these things, y'know, maybe there's a case to be made.
Until Mike Pondsmith responded to some questions about that, rumours he's been sidelined in development, etc. with:
If I wasn't heavily involved, I would be able to get more done. As it is, I barely have a life.
As for the Animals--the WHOLE FREAKING POINT is that they think of themselves as POWERFUL, DANGEROUS, WILD ANIMALS. You'd have thought the Lady named "Sasquatch" would have given them a clue.
The original Voodoo Boys were a scathing commentary on cultural appropriation. I LOVE the idea that real practicioners of Voudon moved in and took back their turf. And they even got the Creole right!
Who the (bleep) do YOU think you are to tell ME whether or not MY creation was done right or not?
I thought the transpohbic thing was an absolute reach and a clear sign that people were clearly trying to just find another stick to beat people they didn't like with.
With specific regard to this particular internet furore I'd agree it was people think-of-the-children-ing over very little.
The problem (I was going to say 'unfortunately' but it's a problem of their own making) is that CDPR and GOG have form for trying to use both anti-transgender and pro-transgender memes, etc. for an ill-judged laugh.
Yeah exactly. They deserve people not liking 'them' in general but this is ridiculous.
Look at this absolute weapon.
It's just dickheads wanting to be offended
I'm pre-ordering the **** out of this as a side note, it was supper clever of CDPR to reveal Keanu just as everyone was talking about John Wick 3. Perfect timing.
This bot is incredible.

Reminds me of Dragon Age.
Don't give a shit about Stadia but I'll take all the gameplay footage I can cram into my eyes, even if it's only 25 seconds or whatever.
I believe we're due more from PAX West in a couple of weeks.
Looks mega
We're getting a 15 minute cut of whatever the journos are being shown, apparently. Have to wait until next Friday though.
Interview with Mike Pondsmith too:

Only thing I'm not convinced about based on the trailers so far is the combat but I'll probably be oing some stealthy netrunnering so I probably won't do that much out and out firefighting anyway.
Aside from when shit goes wrong.
Wonder if this will be open world?
If so
It's an open chunk of city. That's been a significant part of the marketing.
Looks like this is being pushed back to 17th September now.
You'd assume this is good news overall as more time means better chance of more quality. I'm just hoping it's not to try and tie in to the new consoles.
Witcher 3 had a bunch of delays, right? I have faith.
It's just being honest - a lot of places would have shipped it then put out a bunch of patches. They've done the right thing and it'll be a better game for it.
I hope their staff are looking forward to five months of crunch.
Reminds me of this old meme
Feel like there's no chance this meets expectation.
About to be a live stream of this
