It wouldn't power on at all so I had to take apart the console to get GT Sport out the tray. Im too lazy now to put it all back together.
PS Pro acquired. Its on another level.
The quest shall continue

The commitment!
GT Sport Platinum Challenge Week 7
120/322 races completed
84/91 wins
63/65 pole positions
194,000/2,400,000 EXP (9%)
Level 36/50
Im past 80 wins now and two pole postions away from the first of four trophies. I wanted one anyway so its all good. 23 races, 17 wins and 4 pole postions. The lack of pole's was made up by the Bugatti Veyron as it is a monster in a straight line. It is bad in the corners, but my driving skills makes up for that. I would often start down the field and overtake people as they made mistakes. Not sure what races they have with the weekly refresh but ill have the pole and wins trophy by Friday. Still only 9% through the progress though.
The PS4 not working on Sunday morning, only slowed me down and was repalced with a PS PRO in the afternoon. Now I need to get a 4K TV
Anyone noticed that Sincere has somehow completed 90 less races?
P.S. Love that 30 wins at minimum 10 minutes a race = 1 level. I cannot believe you're still playing this game. Get Project Cars you nutter.
He posted about that earlier in the thread. He thought it was counting the races he'd started, not just the ones he'd finished. No idea how that ties in to him labelling the number "races completed' the whole time.
Cant sneak nothing past you lad.
I was going by the races started stats and not races completed. They are totally different metrics. I complete about half the races I enter.
GT is great. No reason to pass it off yet. im not burned out at all. Project Cars is easy work. I’ll plat that in less than 30 days.
Sincere, why are you bothering?
Because COMMITMENT.
He platinums every game he plays.
My mates brother does it too: https://psnprofiles.com/Tollet-117
I'm a twit
This week looks like it is going to be rough. The maps available are tricky and my qualifying times compared to everyone else in the world is not even in the top 20%. Usually, im in the top 3% over one lap. I haven't won a race since Mondays refresh.
Nicely done man, Lance is OP once you get the timing down. I won my second run earlier in the week with this utter shit build:
GTR3 is alive. I feel like the crust of the earth just split.
GT Sport Platinum Challenge Week 8
91/91 wins - COMPLETE
65/65 pole positions - COMPLETE
140/322 races completed
5904/24,855 distance driven (miles)
353,313/2,400,000 EXP (14.87%)
Level 37/50
Managed to grab the race wins and pole position trophies this week and doubled by EXP. Moved from 6% to 14% needed for level 50. I now only have to worry about completing races and don't have to worry about being the fastest on track. However, as I'm enjoying the game I've set myself a new challenege. I want to get my driver and sportsman rating to S-Rank. Currently I'm at C-Rank for driver rating and A-Rank for sportsman. The driver rating to S-Rank is the difficulty one. You can get the rank via 3 ways.
Being in the top 1% in the world
Being top 200 in your region
Top 10 in your manufacture
I'm currently in the top 3% in the world. Position 9585 out of 53,406 drivers. To take it to the next level. I need to enter the FIA Gran Turismo Championships which is only open on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. There are only 3 rounds of the championshi left so I don't think I can achieve top 200 this season. But I will defianlly get my feet wet and fight the last 3 rounds to see how difficulty it really is.
We working

My mates have had me playing Warframe as it's free. I'm not sure I care for it.
I wasn't joking. What is it?
I do like how you always do that though. It's like a warm hug.

I finished Death's Gambit. As souls clones go, it's pretty good. You live and die by abilities and class choice matters a bit. Might go back to it for the heroic fights.
I've been getting back into FTL. That was an absolutely class game.
Finished it the other day for the first time since picking it up again. Settled down for a quick session and had a bunch of things go my way early.
I never did beat FTL. Not that that's what it's really about but once would have been nice.
In an effort to get Final Fantasy V off my backlog, I downloaded a rom that has you at max level with max damage output. The catch is that it's in Japanese.
I got good enough to finish FTL fairly consistently on easy, very much less so on medium and never at all on hard.
Bought The Golf Club 2019, obviously:
Played four hours of it. I can finally properly talk about what I experienced during the beta test.
Graphically its a fair bump up. Trees no longer look 2D, the lighting is much improved. Rough looks way better and more natural. Your avatar is improved, with a lot of customisation options. Crowds are still fairly dead and a bit shit.
Physics are a massive improvement. The rollout is realistic, lies aren't as harshly punishing (some heavy rough gives a 90-95% lie but your ball will roll more on landing).
Putting has had a overhaul. No longer is it too easy to hit one straight, if you're slightly off line the ball will clearly take off more left or right. Power also has been changed slightly, had to essentially relearn it although it didn't take long.
The career mode is much better, you go through Q-School, then Web, then the pro tours (well, PGA due to the license). There's five difficulties from very easy, aka AI is shocking, to very hard, where they'll be scoring -8 to -11 per tournament.
More licensed courses, and more HB official ones. Can't comment on user courses as its the day of launch but some users have ported theirs over. St Andrews still plays a great round.
Three clubsets ala TGC2. Being a veteran I started on Master clubs and they're very fair if very tough. Deviation from a straight line and tempo come into play massively, although its easy to keep the line in the cone. Rarely hit a perfect/perfect, but slow/perfect only punishes you slightly, likewise fast/perfect as long as you're in the cone. Basically its 80% about tempo (easier to get on easier clubsets but you lose a lot of distance), and 20% line.
Feels very good on PC, slight stuttering when using the fast forward as the ball flies through the air, but a patch would soon change that.
Its early days but it feels like what HB wanted TGC2 to actually be.
Slightly annoyed I forgot it was coming out but I barely played the other two. I like how HB do their stuff. Unfortunately, their powers seem to be limited to golf.
Its £45 digital btw, shit ain't cheap
Aye, I noticed. They do tend to push out physical versions which will probably drop like a stone.
I'm down for some TGC19 action.
Get it on PC and I'm up for some MP. Its properly integrated this time round, you can play against randoms etc. Head to head and alternate shot.
Its still actually down to being able to putt and learning it. Best part of the game.
Saved me €50 there
I can tell you a thing or two about ruining two yard putts.
Having loved Theme Park and Theme Hospital as a kid, Two Point Hospital is downloading and I can't wait to start curing all those sick folk.
How you liking it? I am about 3 minutes into a youtube video and thinking I might buy it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idrhhDHemUI
It's great.
It looks and plays exactly like I remember Theme Hospital looking and playing (It'll be much better of course, but it's almost 20 years since I last played Theme Hospital)
I've just got to the second hospital. It tracks your steam friends hospitals too to compare how you're doing. Highly recommend it!
Getting to SS rank is a difficulty in GT. Since I've been playing with my rank, ive done 50 races and won 4 times. Im currently at BB rank.
My mate said he was thinking of getting GT Sport so I showed him Sincere's posts and he decided not to get it and that Sincere is a nutter.
Its a fun game. Even if I wasnt trophy grinding, I would still be playing it. Single player is good, but the AI are too slow for me. Its the online racing where the madness really is.
Actually paid for the game that gave me so much joy. First run, 1 health flash, just beat the clock tower guy with:
I'll see if I can finish it off tomorrow. Never done double bow before but this is beast.
Ice Bow and Explosive/Heavy Crossbow is legit
Have you started playing on hard mode yet? I'm trying to get the double jump rune.
Got both Shenmue games free and having never played either I've got through the opening cutscene of the first. Is it meant to sound like a cheap 70s film or did all games just sound like this at the time?
I'm streaming Dead Cells with Streaming mode turned on which means you can vote to spawn enemies/fuck me over etc.
