Elano was another one.
Elano was another one.
Courtois to Real is BBC Official.
That Coutinho fella was pretty good.
It's the legs you need to look at. People with chunky legs will be alright. Scrawny legs, nah.
Diego Costa.
It does seem there have been quite a few good ones, whether "we've had this out before" or not.
Who are the shit ones? Alfonso Alves (legs maybe too thick?), poor old Kleberson? Of all the South American countries Brazil must rate fairly high in the good to bad in wet and windy Stoke stakes.
Who is their Marinelli?
Why didn't Chelsea ask for Keylor Navas to be thrown in? Even a straight swap at that lol price would have left them better off than what they are doing.
Getting ahead of it, telling Real Madrid to leave him alone and buying him 6 months earlier when he had a 21m release clause would have probably been the most sensible option.
Money means nothing at the end of the day. They’re getting Kovacic for the season too - surely they’ll be offloading a midfielder or two as they have far too many.
Steve Bruce trying to catch Joe Bryan before he gets to Fulham is the greatest thing ever.
Transfer fees still mean something to most clubs. Chelsea aren't United. They will be at risk of falling well behind if they balls the next couple of windows up.
£71m for Spain's number two...
Zouma spotted in Manchester airport. Motwyw
It's a smokescreen for Sergio Ramos (who is a smokescreen for Philippe Mexes [who is a smokescreen for Kevin Hofland {who is a smokescreen for Lilian Thuram}]).
Direct rival for 8th the way things are going for us both. Still, nothing takes Marina by surprise does it.The Red Devils’ move has shocked Chelsea, who are unsure whether they should allow one of their players to join a direct rival.
United sell us Silvestre, Chelsea sell us Benayoun and then they go and do a deal for Kurt Zouma while we're chasing that Vida bloke who looked desperately average at a rather poor World Cup. I think Emery just wants a bunch of absolute bastards at the back, doesn't matter how shit they are. Lichtsteiner, Sokratis, Vida and Ashley Maitland Niles? 90% of the opposition will be donning the Terry Butcher headgear.
Maybe that's the plan as I haven't really seen one in pre-season and giving Chambers a 5 year deal, playing him twice and looking quite good, then sending him out on loan to a promoted team doesn't inspire confidence that there's a blueprint in place.
Desperately average? Were you watching a different player?
He was solid.
They were barely attacked all tournament and conceded 11 goals. I could look solid if my direct comparison was Dejan Lovren. International football is easier than club football. I know he's always been 'rated' but you don't move to Besiktas on a free at 28 if you've actually got something about you. Any Turkish club on your CV is a telltale sign of not being good but able to kick people at the right time.
I wouldn't be keen on signing him either for those red flags but I do feel he had a good World Cup.
Edit: Oh and they conceded 9 (1 against Iceland, 1 against Denmark, 2 against Russia, 1 against England and 4 against France).

My sums are normally 2-3 off when I'm sober and pulling me up when it's half 3 in the morning and what feels like 30 degrees is mean.
That's Dejan 'best in the world' Lovren to you, mate.
In all seriousness though, were he not a bit of an established laughing stock people would probably be shitting their pants Maguire-style at his World Cup performances.
Vida looks a decent back-up type centre-half. Not really one you want to be first choice, as he's a bit of a talentless lump, but someone it's nice to have when your better ones get injured. Historically for us someone like that Greek chap or Pellegrino. Must be a long hair thing.
I watched a bit of something called The Debate - Live on Sky last night and my word, what a nauseating shitfest that was. Geoff Shreeves paneling Craig Bellamy, Gordon Strachan and Steve Parish (seriously, what is the deal with Crystal Palace Chairmen and hair?) ostensibly fawning over Daniel super-savvy Levy for an hour. It was perplexing at best.
I was surprised by Vida. He had good pace. Numerous times it was him and sterling in a foot race. I was expected Sterling to just burn past him, but Vida got the best of him most of the time.
Wolves are linked with the Man city young left back from Ukraine. They came in for him earlier in the summer but he claimed he wanted to stay. It looks like he is joining Wolves officially now.
Man Utd are looking to bring in Diego Godin
Yerry Mina is having a medical for Everton.
Tottenham will not be making more offers for Jack Grealish
Fulham are trying to sign Martin Montoya and Sergio Rico
All according to SSN

Just looking at all the league transfers so far. Tottenham have signed zero players. I thought there was a glitch in the matrix but its official. Not one new player has been signed. Are they balling on a budget?

Godin has rejected Man Utd.
An image of Victor Moses is being removed from a Stamford Bridge wall.

Big Croatian lad Filip Benkovic arrives. Hadn’t heard of him two days ago but convinced he will be excellent and Man Utd will try to buy him next summer for £100m.
Another centre back Caglar Soyuncu also incoming for £20m and I am more wary of this because I have no idea of how to say his name even after listening to him pronounce it.
Letting Moses go because we're going back to 4-3-3 would be mental.
It also suggests Sarri is a complete ideologue.

The offer for Dembele has been put in
Someone claimed dendoncker would be a good deal for Wolves. Its now official. Dendoncker sounds like a body part found in my girlfriend's jeans.
it sounds like fucking what
A Dendonckadonk.
That Diego Godin stuff is lol. He would have been perfect, what with being the best centre-back in the world by a mile, so why not make the move (or begin to cultivate it) three months ago? That way, whilst he probably still BOTTLES IT, you at least look like you're serious and not like the third Dildo Brother.
Put a banging Dedoncker on it.
I'm a twit
I’ll be ok with the no signings as long as none of the European teams take a player from us in the next 3 weeks
What a crap deadline day.
It's bonkers that Southampton seem to have left it until the last half a day to sort out the deal for Ings. You've had 3 months...
I was hoping Welbeck to wolves would have gained traction but it didn't.
Fulham have made some cracking signings. 20/1 on them to get 55 points will be getting punted on.
I've just realised we have absolutely no cover at left back. Wait. Apparently, we still have Achfraf Lazaar. And I guess Jamie Sterry?
Meh, the United window isn't a DISASTER. People would be wanking themselves daft over Andreas Pereira if he was a new signing, 'Alexis' looks on it, and Anthony Martial might have a point to prove now the tosser. I'm surprised a right-sided attacker never came in, probably because nobody famous enough was available, but you can sort of see the board position on centre-backs when they have bought him a thirty million quid one each summer and he doesn't use them.
