How's XCOM?
I watched the match which didn't end till 11 which meant I had to be up until 3am editing video last night sadly.
Answer me one question Boyd, will I ever be able to recruit the alien prisoner and take him on missions?
Awww, I was hoping we could be buddies.
I like the squad management stuff, the Pink Waistcoat Crew are a force to be reckoned with.
Onto what looks like the last mission now, shame as I liked the little minor missions and sending your guys out on their own to train them up. Feels like this could have been fleshed out more or expanded upon in a sequel.
Banner Saga 2's ending is massively anticlimactic.
Two more pole postisitons and two race wins in GT Sport last night. My aim is one win every time I play. It is a lot of fun but it is very difficult.
Anyone who follows eSports. F1 are doing their version and are as I type, doing an American style draft system to pick the teams drivers.
I'm interested to see how they do this after the draft. You'd imagine it's a race per weekend, but even so you're looking at a good half a year to wrap all of it up. And will teams be ruthless in dropping drivers partway through?

Wouldn't it be great if it was Mario Kart.
That sounds ... complicated.
I should be into E-Sports. But I just dont give a fuck about it. I don't even play the game modes that are created for E-Sports. I stay well away from it.
Sincere you're literally playing the racing game that only cares about competitive multiplayer racing.
He's only doing it for the trophies.
Does that Greger Huttu lad also do the more arcadey racers? He's been donning it on the sims for decades now.
Playing in a competitive game mode and watching others play competitively is something i just dont do. I like to watch speedruns. Thats it
Two more wins knocked off taking me up to 8. Ive got a formula.
1) If I retire from 5 straight races, it decreases my ranking to a D-grade.
2) It then matches me up with general scrubs and I can win about 2 races from 5.
3) Once I get two wins, my rank increases to a C-grade.
4) Refer back to step 1
Im aiming for two wins per day which is harder than it sounds. Im now on five wins today. Momentum.
I've enjoyed it, there's a lot to like. I thought I was onto the last mission but there seems to be at least one more, I'll probably finish it up at the weekend.
GT Sport update
50 of 322 races completed
10 of 65 pole positions
16 of 91 race wins
13 fastest laps
Been playing all day and #ive won about 5 races. Its getting tough though, even when I downgrade my rank
I still keep wondering if that game's worth it. When they patch in Trial Mountain, I'll bite.

Seems this story is months old now but it's still quite the thing.
Tacoma is ace. Right up my alley.
The Red Strings Club: Also great. It and Tacoma have been some nice story and character-driven games to balance out walloping things in Vermintide.
GT Sport update
100 of 322 races completed
30 of 91 race wins
26 of 65 pole positions
23 fastest laps
Sitll doing nicely in the quest for the related trophies. Ive also notice you need to get to level 50. Right now im level 28. I will need to farm XP at some point as the online mode is not going to get me to level 50, by the time I get the online trophies. So much fun at the moment.
Spelunky 2 is happening. Hard to see how they can change the formula too much, but I trust them.
GT Sport is £10.99 at the minute. I think I'm biting at that price.
What's the big deal with this Fortnite thing and how is it different from the million first person run around games? I have never read as much about a game being anticipated on Android before and now people are losing their shit because it's only going to be on the Galaxy Note 9 for the first month.
It's utterly huge. A few years ago in work most of the kids played Minecraft. Now every kid has played Fotenite, and most play it every night. It's all the talk about and they act out playing it at playtime. It's also huge among an older crowd too.
Have you played/seen 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds'? It's just that.
It's a cool concept, 100 players drop on a map, the last one alive wins. In Fortnite you can build stuff and it all looks very cartoon-like, which is why parents don't have a problem with their kids playing it.
It's also free and out on every platform.
PUBG is a million times better.
Fortnite is too cartoons, building is bollocks and the emotes (which all kids copy) are a disgrace.
I am a strong believer in judging a book by its cover and from the videos Ive seen of it. Fortnight does not interest me at all.
I too much prefer PUBG
Fortnite sux.
It’s pretty cool how popular it is though.
I'm a twit
Completely agree, PUBG just feels much better to me. Can't stand the building aspect of Fortnite at all.
Both are a load of wank.
Pubg?
Player Unknown's Battlegrounds.
Took a long break from God of War due to holidays/not playing PS4 much but I've delved back in hard.
It's fucking glorious.
I see Madden is out on the 9th of August. Has anyone played a recent one and is it gone all wanky like FIFA where you collect cards and have seventeen versions of the same player?
I might seriously consider playing all of Train Simulator World.
It's been that way for a few years at least.
Yakuza 0.......what the fuck is this shite!!!
That's probably the most Bam response, to be fair.
Response? I made a comment I think you’ll find.
