Most of the teams in this are a bit shit, aren't they?

Marcelo is having a stinker tonight. Misplacing passes all over the place.
Everyone looks off. I dunno what it is, all the players are maybe just knackered from the season.
Neymar just takes the ball and runs into a swiss person and falls over, at this point.
It's all set up for Ronaldo to break Klose's record by the end of the second round and Portugal to shit their way to it.
Two points dropped
Brazil looked pretty ropey. Serbia and Switzerland to go through.
Knee jerk
Neymar is a genuine disgrace. At least Ronaldo has achievements to his name that justify the self-obsession.
Missed the second half. Brazil.
Spain looked quite good.
"Just to clarify, these decisions will be reviewed." WE KNOW, CLIVE! Hopefully the commentators chill out about the VAR at some point.
Brazil didn't really get the best out of any of their players. Not sure that midfield set up really helps anyone. Looked like some morphing compromise between 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 to satisfy Neymar's craving for a total lack of responsibility.
Spain have looked the best that I've seen so far.
I would agree with Spain being the best so far. Comfortably so in fact.
I was surprised Neymar didn't have a shot from that freekick at the end.
Yeah, it was. I was just shocked he didn't go for glory himself.
If he wants less responsibility, maybe he should stop trying to cut into the box when he's out wide and just send a fucking cross in. And his header would've went in if he'd not had a cabbage on his head.
I meant defensive responsibility.
There are some rowdy second round options open if any of Brazil/Germany/Argentina fuck it and come second.
Unlike last time around someone breaking Neymar's back would probably be of benefit to Brazil.
Portugal are the only team that gets anywhere near a successful Roy of the Rovers megalomaniac system. I wonder if it is because they are a slightly smaller nation, or if it's just force of will on C. Ronaldo's part. I suppose Brzail came close last time, but found the inherent flaw in the system. You really can't afford any other 'luxury' players.
Never has a player been better suited to wasting his life in a team like PSG than Neymar. He should probably move to China, the massive twat.
I still don't understand the hate for the French league, PSG and Neymar. Its the weakest of the big leagues but all the other leagues this year besides Serie A had one team dominance and the titles were virtually wrapped up by Christmas. But somehow he is wasting time in France yet he is the probably in pole position to be the first player outside of Messi and Ronaldo to win the Ballon d'Or.
Neymar would go to any league and do numbers.
Neymar’s fantastic, obviously, and I still think Brazil will win the tournament
I also still have Brazil as the favourite, and you have to imagine they'll click into gear as the tournament progresses. First match is always going to be cagey.
I don't see the reason for hating Neymar, either. He seems inoffensive enough, unless you feel strongly about hair being the window to the soul or something. I don't think he's particularly selfish, and he doesn't have to do it all this time around.
He's playing for personal glory, all driven by his wanker dad. It's not an appealing look. For him the World Cup is just a means to get the Ballon d'Or.
And he's a tax dodging cousin fucker.
Not a single player out there apart from Neymar that's doing it for personal glory apart from literally every last one of them.
I'm a twit
That was some golden seethe by 'Alisson' in stamping on that ball.
Wish someone had chucked another one on straight away. Whoever gets duped into paying £70m for him is going to regret it.
Just me or has anyone else seen balls being chucked onto the pitch while it's in play?
I think it was the Germany Mexico game where there was a cross out to the left and I noticed a ball rolling around in the 6 yard area.
'mon Costa Rica.
I need Neymar to score 5.
5 Live say Neymar is sulking. Surely not.
The constant fouls on Neymar need punishing more harshly. Fouling him every time he gets the ball shouldn't be a viable defensive strategy.
Fouling Neymar should be rewarded.
ITV Hub is such a piece of shit.
For the same reason 'professional' fouls which are fairly innocuous in terms of severity often attract bookings.
It's a cynical attempt to circumvent the spirit of the rules.
Yeah when you've got that sort of player, your entire gameplan is so dependent on the ref giving out cards for rotational fouling.
Neymar just crossed the ball toward Jesus. The Costa Rica defender did really well to just get there before Jesus. When offisde was given the commentator questioned it because "the ball didn't reach Jesus, so he wasn't interfering ". These people get paid to talk about football. Paid.
If anyone ever deserved to get kicked out of a tournament it's Neymar at this one.
Yet another example of a South American nation believing their number 10 to be better than he actually is.
I think it's been clear for a while that Jimmy knows literally nothing about football.
The blue Brazil kit is lovely.
