£22m does not sound like that bad. Again Ive never noticed him in the Leverkusen games ive watched. He didnt make the germany squad. Kevin Trapp got in aheah of him. That may tell you something. Neuer played 4 games for Bayern all season and walked back into the Germany team with the captains armband.

Arsenal seem to be wanting to sign Berndt Leno and Lucas Torreira. Both who seem like reasonable if unspectacular signings - but sort of the kind that Everton would make. So I dunno. And also seems like Wilshere is indeed leaving, which I think is a shame but maybe it's more the heart than the mind thinking that.
Has Martial actually been playing without having an impact in a game for United? He's always seemed like he was on the ball a lot and doing a lot of things when playing.
Seems to me a bit like one of those players that would really thrive somewhere else where they basically don't have to be Willians regen all the time.

@Mazuuurk Torreira seems anything but to me. From the buzz around him and the astonishing insight that is provided by YouTube videos, I’m quite buoyed by the prospect. Lichtensteiner and Sokratis look like reasoned, sensible signings to steady the ship, the boy from Fray Bentos looks like building for a brighter future. Leno I don’t know much about, or at least not enough of the past couple of years of him being a senior player for Leverkusen, though I know he looked the part as a youngster.
None of it’s that inspiring but seems ok whilst we’re rebuilding on a small budget. Hopefully Sokratis means Mustafi being moved on in July and freeing up some more funds for another acquisition in the defence. I’d love us to have a pop at Luke Shaw personally, or Kieran Tierney, given LB is another problem area. Mavropoulos, Sokratis, Kos, Chambers and Holding is enough to get by if we move to two centre halves and probably enough even with 3 at the back, but Monreal isn’t up to par and I’m yet to be fully sold on Kolasinac.

Kolasinac or Monreal are just as good/bad as Bellerin I reckon, so basically probably need a right back as well.
Lichsteiner is in to cover RB, but I think Bellerin silk has the ability to return to the level he was at 18 months ago. If he can, RB is sorted for the foreseeable future or until Barcelona renew their interest.
