Brilliant
Knobs on FB posted this shit.
Looked on twitter and there were no mention aswell. Had a feeling.
This Nurse/Thackary storyline is total shit. What a load of rubbish.
I've just started on The Newsroom which is absolutely fantastic after the first couple of episodes. Did it get cancelled after three seasons or did they just end it there and then?
It ended up being a bit shit, unfortunately.
The first episode of series two of Catastrophe was pretty good. Although it sort of feels a little like they've skipped too far ahead, as if this should be season three.
What would be season 2 though? I think this pretty much will be the final season.
Chris, Dave and Ferghal might just be the best lads night out ever.
I thought it would have picked up from the birth of the kid that she was having at the end of aeries one rather than skipping forward a few years in time.
Chris.
I think Brooklyn Nine Nine's hitting its stride again. The last couple of episodes have been right back up there - they're predictable, but you can do that on TV as long as it's entertaining.
Agreed, the first few episodes with the different captains didn't really work for me.
More Holt > anybody else.
Fresh Off the Boat seems pretty good judging by the first episode.
I've watched a few episodes of Review now too. Why don't his family and friends know what his job is?
I don't remember it ever being addressed properly in the show itself, but I saw an interview with Andy Daly where he said that Forrest believes that if people know what he's doing it'll fundamentally change the experience, and he won't be able to review it properly. It's a slightly flimsy justification for a choice I think they've made purely to generate conflict, but if something's that funny I'll forgive it a lot of things.
Have you hit the pancakes episode yet?
Yeah, I think that's the last one I saw. I like it but I don't think it's as amazing as you've made it out to be. Yet, anyway. I'll probably end up being wrong and loving it like with Parks and Rec.
It isn't as good as Parks and Recreation, but not much is. It's the best ongoing comedy though.
I prefer Jimmy Olsen being a slight geeky bow-tie character, not a big strong dude with a 12" inch cock.
The reveal was abit dumb too "I'm her, Supergirl, look I can fly" - could have dragged it out more.
Watched the first season of Catastrophe over the past day and it really is damn good.
Watched the first ep of Ash vs Evil Dead. Been waiting for months and it is brill. It's a funny horror TV series based on the film, but it's not too funny that it ruins the plot or becomes stupid. Love it!
I've downloaded it, so it's happening.
Rob Delaney is pretty decent on twitter too.
The first episode of Review was fairly underwhelming. Hope it gets better.
In case I'm not the only one who didn't realise, "The Hunt" which is just finishing on BBC (repeated next week and will obviouslhy be on iPlayer) is a new Attenborough nature thing.
I think I got 8 (or so) episodes in and I haven't gone back to it yet. I will with time.
I've just finished season 2 of The Newsroom and it still hasn't gone to shit yet. I reckon it's The Leftovers after I'm done with this.
Bob's Burgers and Brooklyn Nine-Nine both not on this week. Fuck's sake, Americans. Halloween is not a real holiday for adults. Get your fucking act together.
On ep2 of Catastrophe where he wanks in the toilet at work and I laughed a little too much so the wife questioned whether or not I did that and I laughed it off like 'what? No, god no'
Lol. Still not as bad as Boom.
Your life. Jesus.
Re-watching Curb Your Enthusiasm. It really is great. Currently on season six and will be getting the two I haven't seen yet.
"I'll have a colon contest anytime you want!"
Going to take the TV out of my spare room and in to the bedroom.
What are people's thoughts on this? I removed it because it was fucking with my feng shui but I now realise that's a load of shit and I never ever sit in my office apart from when I'm working.
Sounds like a way to make your marriage even worse.
We never watched it at night, it would come in handy when I watch Virgin TV Anywhere instead of my lappy but through the telly, and if the wife was watching catchup or on demand it would be comfier to lie on a bed.
You're the Worst is so good. People need to get on it.
Done.
I can't remember if I watched one or two episodes of that before binning it. Everyone just seemed so thoroughly unpleasant. It's the same reason I didn't last long with It's Always Sunny.
Does it get funny enough to compensate for everyone involved being an insufferable arsehole?
Maybe that's why Boyd likes it if he can relate to the characters so strongly.
I think so. They also get less arsehole-ish as it goes on as your start to see their weaknesses and that's where it really starts to shine. Mostly in season 2 but it's worth sticking with for that.
This is a good write-up on the last episode (yesterday's) and why it's great. http://www.avclub.com/tvclub/phenome...ng-your-227967
Although there are spoilers there so if you want to watch it without those, don't read it.
So you should love it too then.
That dog's name is almost certainly a 2ManyDJs reference, which is lovely. I'll give it another go at some point.
I accepted I'm an arsehole.
That would be more relevant, true.
When's the knick season 2 on sky?
I'm a twit
