I call them 'Hipster Vests', as they all wear them under their Lumberjack gear.

It was bad enough when Nike started just making everyone's shirts with the same 3 designs.
Nowadays they don't even try to make them look different whatsoever. I mean sure, adidas has the "let's put these 3 stripes somewhere on here" bit they do but I'd much rather that than the negligible differences in this shit:

They get away with it by pretending its the trend. I imagine plain shirts are preferable as the sponsors stand out more.
Germany always do cracking kits.
One of the first teams I played for, played in this classic....

World Cup 2018 Kits
Argentina
5/10
Same as every other Argentina shirt.
Spain
3/10
Looks like a shirt I created on MS Paint when I was 13.
Germany
8/10
As always, the Germans deliver the good with another cracking kit.
Colombia
3/10
Never been a fan of yellow, grandfather collars, or fences.
Belgium
2/10
Nice training top, lads. Also, is that the Spain shirt turned sideways?
Mexico
6/10
Simple. Just the right side of simple.
Japan
6/10
Tear along perforated line.
Russia
1/10
Dear fucking God. Every tournament the Russians manage to out do their previous efforts. Disgusting. Every year.
I love a throwback kit, these are all ace. Scotland and Northern Ireland have old school kits too, hopefully Nike don't just put out the same template for everyone again but with a random sock colour or ooh, pastel sleeves.
The worst thing in that post is Messi's sleeve tattoo. Genuinely awful.
I hope Russia make all theirs 3 sizes too big for the full effect. Sleeves flapping in the wind.
If Germany stick to the theme for their away kit too, let's just hand them the cup now

What's the point of Spain?
Russia’s determination to stick to the 1980’s in every possible way is great.
The fans, the government, the cars and the kit. G’wan lads.
Half stripes are always so shit.
I think that's the worst shirt I've ever seen.
Sunset over the River Styx.
How can kit designers be so bad. Villa (with similar colours) had pretty good kits around the turn of the century:

Same reason all designers are bad, they need to fuck things up to justify having a job.
This though
Has anyone here got any experience with SoccerTriads? Mainly are they decent quality and how long does the free delivery take?
Or can anyone suggest a similar place for snide shirts?

http://www.shootjerseys.cc/ or chance one of the sellers on DHGate.
Aha! Just ordered from DHGate before I saw your post. Reviews seem positive so for the Ł12 delivered or whatever it's cost (it's cheaper on the app), it's worth a gamble. Went with Firmino on the back. I don't think it'll be here in time for when I want it on the 20th January but ah well.
I'll let everyone know when it comes.![]()

Nigerias World Cup effort:
England
![]()
Nigeria traditionally do better the more stupid their kit is, so they should win the cup with that.
That England shirt needs a red or blue band around the sleeve. I like it, but it does look a little like a training top.
The collar is weird.
I'm a twit
It looks like Toby has pulled it over his fat head.
I'm no fan of that kit but the official hat that comes with it is

I've always wanted to walk around town in a Nigeria Football Federation bucket hat.
That swanky Nigeria one is their away so if they're shit in their group we may never get to see it.
The unquestionable source of the Daily Mail has that as the home shirt and a block dark green effort as away.
Sky Sports are saying the same actually. I hope it's true, as much as I like that dark green one football kits should be as mental as possible.
Nike confirm the good news https://news.nike.com/news/2018-nige...tball-team-kit
as always, there’s a full green kit, though it’s now the away stripe rather than the home
That England one looks well comfy. Like it's made of wool.
That Nigeria kit is quality.
Germany Away

Some more aways.

I do wonder if there's a cold, calculating corporate heartbeat to all of us. I.e. the more successful nations get more thought put into their kit because they get more exposure and will sell better?
The Sweden away and Belgium away are tasty
Arsenal are going away from Puma and going with Adidas instead. What clubs do they do and do they do the '1 shirt applied to every team' thing?
They all do, don’t they?
Balance of power has truly shifted.
Pink![]()
Assuming the (lol)pink one is the 3rd kit, the away one is alright. The home one is shit.
The pink one is apparently the away one. I bet Lukaku looks massive in it.
My new Liverpool shirts on order so expect a new avatar in the coming weeks.![]()

Got the new Liverpool shirt yesterday. Much prefer the previous one. I thought we'd be sticking with that darker red from now on. Ah well, I'm sure it'll grow on me.
Thankfully we have to wear the "old" one in the final, despite being able to wear the new one in the last league game against Brighton.
