He's back bitches. Palace are a mess.
Ronald De Boer has now managed a grand total of 9 games for 2 clubs and been sacked both times.

He'll probably do a job at Palace.
De Boer has destroyed any reputation he had built up with Ajax. He's probably too big for the Dutch league, so he'll end up out in China or the Gulf for a while.
Or wage-strapped Barcelona next season.
What's the point in this kind of appointment if you sack the coach after 4 matches?
Because it was demonstrably the wrong appointment for the players they have. They clearly developed delusions of 'pushing on' and 'playing attractive football' before realising after 4 games that they are in fact Crystal Palace and succeed only when the basics are spot on.
I think Brede Hangeland summed it up well when he said if you're Stoke and after 5 years of finishing in or around 9th you decide to change up the direct, get at 'em Pulis style and it doesn't quite work out then that's fine. When you've spent the last few years flirting with relegation, it's not the time.
Also 4 games and not even a goal to show for it is piss poor.
Wrong brother, phonics.
Hodgson will probably keep them up.
Well yeah it was a bloody stupid thing to do if they only believed in him enough in the first place to give him four matches. Parish must have known that Palace wouldn't turn into Cruyff's Holland in a month so if it wasn't part of a long term plan what was the point.
White smoke above the chicken shop. Hodgson is an absolute dream appointment. Even his accent is absolutely bang on south Croydon.
Should hire Martin O'Neill.
Woy.
Palace seem to have turned into a rehab centre for ex-England managers.
Frank seems to be the ultimate bluffer. Wonder how much he's made from those two sackings.
Ronald de Boer has managed a grand total of no games for no clubs and been sacked no times.
Cheers mate. SvN pointed that out 5 hours ago but everyone needed reminding of this key issue.
It's Frank De Boer mate, not Ronald.
Never heard of him. As if there's two people with the same last name. What are they? Brothers? Stop trolling.
Yeah. Ronald played for Barcelona, and Frank played for Rangers.
They also won Euro 92 with Denmark.
Fought against each other in the Boer War as well
I thought I'd check out what Ronald de Boer is up to now, and the summary of his Wikipedia page on Google is:
'Ronald de Boer
Frank de Boer's brother'
Good decision from Palace to bin him off, the players didn't have a scooby on his system and I think he would've needed to have changed his ways to make it work, which it sounds like he wouldn't have.
If he'd brought in 10 new players it might have had a chance as a hard reboot, but you're not teaching Joel Ward to become an inverted libero and start wearing clogs.
I see Dougie Freedman is instrumental behind the scenes at Palace these days. Jesus. I doubt he can even read. Hodgson taking them down would be a sight to behold.
Steve Parish seems a top bloke as well. I mean Ronald.
I heard Trevor McDonald was in the frame for the job. No wait, Ronald.
I wouldn't want him. I've seen him trying to coach basketball and he was terrible.
These reasons for him being crap are good.
De Boer would pick balls out of the sky, swivel on the spot and then ping one into the top corner in front of the Palace squad. It was unnecessary and smacked of arrogance.
Someone in the comments claims that Swansea players disliked Michael Laudrup for doing the same. That links to what I was wondering about Roy Keane the other day, if everybody knows he thinks they're crap.
Imagine your downfall being sown because the chairman rates Martin Kelly and Joel Ward... You'd be glad to see them relegated.
I think Keane went as far as going in goal to prove to his keeper at Ipswich that it was easy to save 30 yard free kicks.
That's a bit far but players getting the hump because some middle aged man is still a bit handy in five a side is extra precious.
