If you lived in the US, you would have moved back to the UK, Jim.
If I know you anything at all, anyway.

You are right. More than six months there and you'd die of a heart attack anyway.
My mom (who lives right in front of the beach) is still debating whether she should move out or not.![]()
Might be a bit poor timing to move your furniture around right now.
If she lives in Florida, that is.
How's her Will divided up?
@Pepe I hope your people are ready down south
Found out today that my cousin is currently teaching out in Antigua and my Aunt is visiting. Both fine, but still...
It doesn't take much to blow one of those trampolines around. I had one end up in my back garden after a night of wind that couldn't topple a sapling.
Will do if needed.
I think this is the third hurricane my mother goes through. Luckily I didn't get any when I was living there.
Kind of Ironic (is it?) that after all this hype she's safer in Florida than she would have been in Mexico last night.
Like a hurricaaaane on her wedding day.
Storm time's coming to you today.
i have managed 11 years so far.

Latest track has a cat 1 to the west of us. We are probably gonna board up and bought some supplies.
Take care Danny, bruh, Pepe's mom. Just come up to MD for a spot of tea if it all goes to shit.
Looking at 'Waterford Whispers' further and it seems like The Onion for all the Europeans who are mad at the Americans for getting satire right first.
We got satire right in around 1963-65, but sadly have now regressed to whatever I constantly see Russell Howard advertising on Sky.
A sideways look at the news, you say, Russell? That sounds original.
Private Eye still does satire well. Americas comedy attempts have improved across the board in recent times, but that's pretty much solely down to ripping of our lot. Rule Britannia.
Anyway, Irma seems to have changed course and given Cuba a full fist up the arse rather than a passing pat. I haven't seen an updated track, so I'm not sure if this let's our Floridian contingent off the hook. Here's hoping a more southerly tack doesn't take it underneath Florida into the Gulf to have another go at Texas.
Still set to wallop Florida - and has now regained Catagory 5 status - albeit with the eye going up the West coast rather than the East.
Is a hurricane an anti-clockwise spinner? If it is then just off to the right of the eye is the worst place to be isn't it? Rather than under the eye itself. It's going to absolutely cream Naples by the looks of it, which is a shame.
Either I want this hurricane to drop power super quickly or for it to NEVER STOP.
I hope it develops a brain.
I'm a twit
it's weakened a bit but unfortunately will gain all of that back when it gets out to open water.
one of my best friend's parents live in Key West. i'm gutted for him to be honest. they were gonna just ride it out as it was supposed to go in up in Miami but now has shifted to an absolute fisting of Key West.
i tried to be positive but i'm pretty worried for them if i'm honest.
On the bright side, hurricanes seem to deal more in destruction that actual loss of life. Although you could lump earthquakes into that, depending on where they happen. On a sidenote, I tried looking into Jupiter's dark spot (which has been raging at least 350 years) but got bored by the word 'vertices' turning up in every sentence.
I have family in Naples (second cousins and the like). The good ol' matriarch of that branch died earlier this year, she was a proper yee-haw negro-hating gal who loved God and hated the African terrorist Obama (apparently on her deathbed she thanked God she lived to see 'him' become President). Anyway, this has left the family with a bunch of retards making the decisions and on this occasion they've all moved into a house in the middle of the evacuation zone and decided to stay there because God is on their side.
God's got absolutely the right idea sending a fucking huge hurricane directly towards them, if you ask me.
All good here
Buddy's parents in Key west also good surprisingly
And here. No power for going on 8 hrs now though.
It's a bit blowy here.
Jobs thread is over here, mate.
It's more of a hobby really.
Like, 3 blocks away from Emirates
I swear to god I saw a family of four get carried off by the gusts outside Sainsbury's bro
Just started absolutely belting it down here. I heard the rain cross the street as it approached![]()
