I fucking hate the fact the draft date selection is automatically set to PDT - must've ended up changing it about twelve times to get it to the time I actually intended
On yahoo? Mine is definitely set to BST.
I have some Graham Gano news for you @Browning. Word from their GM is that, if he isn't traded by week one, he'll be the one kicking against the 49ers.
Just completed another randomer draft. Ended up with the seventh pick & a fairly decent team:

Kinda just took guys I wanted to own for the first half of the draft, then tried to fill in the gaps
The Gano news doesn't fill me with confidence. Knowing my luck they'll decide to play the other guy 2 minutes into the game for no reason.
If Hauschka clears waivers tomorrow I'll go with him. Fuck it.
Binned off Prater for Janikowski in dynasty. He might be old and so have no value long term, but this year he should hopefully do a job.
Sea Bass is immortal.
Reckon I'll actually win any games?
My WRs are expected to get 0 points.
I'm a twit
They won't get zero points, but they might be close
I won't name names.... but there is one team I would back Baz to win against week 1.
I don't know, I thought Mert drafted pretty well.
Yahoo knows
https://sports.yahoo.com/news/2017-f...184448595.html
"Team to avoid"
Yahoo being wrong once again, shock.
Someone's jumped the gun on Wille Snead in League Two by placing him on waivers.
That's a bit surely even through he has a three game suspension on him.
Mahow's delusions about the Ravens know no bounds.
They're easily the worst team in the entire NFL for fantasy options.
And you go too far the other end.
If we split our thoughts down the middle we're probably spot on.
Some of it is to wind you up, but I was genuinely asked if I had to ban myself from drafting from one team, who it would be, and I didn't really have to think about it.
Their RBs are always "THE NEXT BIG THING" but never materialise, Flacco is meh (a lower end option) and I don't even remember the last time they had a viable WR. Fantasy Pros has their best player in the overall rankings as West at 71.... I haven't double checked but I'm fairly sure every other team has a better player than that.
They've burned me too many times, and they're always injured. Beyond Tucker there's no one there I'd want.
Oh, I agree they're all 'sleepers' at best.
You can't pin a season on a Ravens player but they can be good for a game or two.
Same for most of the league too really.
To be fair to them, Woodhead is a PPR stud (one I'm kind of sad I missed out on in every league, and did consider drafting a few times) but I'd need to see him do it for the Ravens first, and not be injured. I think I have Maclin in 1 league and I'm interested to see if he does anything.
I did say after my Dynasty draft that Kenneth Dixon was one of my favorite picks of the draft. I had him top of my board for a long time before pulling the trigger because I knew no one else was going to be thinking about the guy who was injured all year (I did the same with Mike Williams too). I'm banking on you being right about him.
If it makes you feel better I play in a league with a Panthers fan who took McCaffrey in round 2 (ahead of Melvin Gordon, Ajayi and Zeke), Cam Newton in round 5 (2 QB league so it's not too horrible... but still) and the Pathers DST as the 5th one taken (only after Seattle, Denver, Kansas and Houston) and also spent a 14th rounder on a Carolina IDP who wasn't Kuechley. So I guess all NFL fans are like that with their team. I'm shocked he didn't draft more Panthers, he usually does.
Hauschka didn't clear waivers so I still have Gano.... and Sea Bass is now an issue for the first time in like 4 decades. Fuck sake.
Edit- Sea Bass out, Lutz in. We'll revisit it after Wembley/after he gets cut/injured/asked to take a 90% pay cut.
Sorry I missed the draft. Went out of town and assumed I'd be sat at my cousin's house doing fuck all but actually ended up going to a college football game that night.
Didn't get enough people for the custom league (sorry Mahow), so I went & did another quick draft. Ended up with this from pick 4:

Might do another one later - still want to try to get hold of Lev Bell, AJ Green, Michael Thomas, Russell Wilson & Jimmy Graham, as well as a few others, although I don't particularly fancy going up to something like 10 teams in order to get there.
Antonio Brown is the one that eludes me. No matter how many times I try, I just never seem to fall at the the spot he goes.
Managed to get a 10 team dynasty league sorted, then my laptop froze just before my 3rd/4th round turn picks
Ended up with Hilton & Crowell, but fortunately I'm back to do the rest. I did manage to make my first two picks too, which I'm very happy with. Full results to come.
Started a random Yahoo league from 2nd.
Bell, Howard and 'Zeke are my first three picks. Woof.
Edit: No flex spot though :\
Your WRs are going to be shit though, you can't all get Demaryius Thomas in round 7
I really can't wait for all this to be back.
As I didn't post it yet, here is my match up from that league (where I got Thomas and my other ridiculous picks) against the reigning league champion, who should be one of the tougher teams:

Right, since you nerds live for this shit I might as well give you my other team I've just drafted.
14 team league, starting team is 1QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. Includes return yards, not just touchdowns.
QB: Cousins, Smith
WR: Hilton, Parker, Marshall, Snead (I think in the round I got him this was a decent deal even with the suspension), Patterson
RB: Freeman, Gurley, Coleman, Johnson
TE: Olsen, Cook
K: Janikowski.... who I didn't realise might be getting cut.
DEF: Arizona.
I feel like there's a shitload of what-ifs in there.
I think my WRs came out quite well actually:
Younghoe is there to keep morale up.
I've managed to get an ESPN league draft going...
I'm the last pick
Interesting, especially considering I have CJ Anderson. Denver have about twelves RBs though, so still not quite as good of a spot as the Bills were.
Seems pretty solid, although it does demonstrate just how big the impact of a few extra teams has on the quality of rosters.
Younghoe
Plenty of chance to grab a pair of studs there though. AJ Green falls to the end of the round pretty regularly, plus there's Michael Thomas, not to mention the chance of picking up Zeke, who looks likely to play this weekend.
Someone took Tucker as the second pick
I promise it wasn't me.
Yea, those WRs are better than I expected, fair play.
Not sure why people are sleeping on Thomas. Denver may have the 5th best QB in their division, but he still put up over 1000 yards with him last season.
It's kind of sickening how much stock I have in Luck this year. He better come back strong.
Okay, so my dynasty team ended up as follows:

Pretty sure we were all way out with player valuations, but it was good fun. Going to have to look to make a couple of trades though, as I ended up going for upside a bit too much & there are some clear areas that need improving. Those auto-drafted picks at the 3/4 turn really hurt me though.
31 players is even more than my Dynasty league, where I think we had 26. People complained the bench was too big, but I honestly feel it's on the small side. I'm not sure how I'll take to Dynasty, I can just see me getting to next summer and not wanting to let go of anyone.
He's hit at least 1000 in all bar 2 season (his first two when he was injured a lot) and prior to last year it was 1300 at least.
I've set this one to be a 30 team league (plus 2 IR spots), where you can only keep 20 players, so I'm hoping that I don't have that problem next season too
Currently, my main issue is that I'm utterly shit at RB this season. Considering trying to trade for one of the Patriots backs (preferably James White as it's 0.5PPR) or Rob Kelley to give me some immediate value, but I'm not sure quite who I'd offer up in return.
DT is one of those players who's super reliable, but not really exciting & doesn't have much potential to outdo what he's done in the past, so nobody wants him when they could take a flier on a potential stud. He's in the same boat as Crabtree, who's the one I tend to pick up a round or two later.
Mine is 26 but you can keep them all. We also have 5 IR spots, so if I fill those I'll have 31 players to think about. In an ideal world I'll keep 18-20 and have a few draft picks, but I'm not convinced that'll happen. We will see.
I'm not really sure how Year 2 dynasty drafts work. What is the usual way of doing it? I'm guessing Reverse standings order and no snake?
No idea either Reverse standings from the previous season definitely seems the fairest way to do it, but I'm not sure how it works in regards to some teams choosing different numbers of keepers than others & how that affects the draft.
Got a whole year to get that sorted though.
Suck It Gravity Draft
1) Devonta Freeman (RB)
2) AJ Green (WR)
3) Isaiah Crowell (RB)
4) Carson Wentz (QB)
5) Wille Snead (BEN)
6) Kirk Cousins (BEN)
7) Zach Ertz (TE)
8) Ameer Abdullah (BEN)
9) Adam Thielan (BEN)
10) Darren McFadden (BEN)
11) Rex Burkhead (FLEX)
12) Zay Jones (WR)
13) Joe Flacco (BEN)
14) Cameron Brate (BEN)
15) Cairo Santos (K)
16) New York Giants (D/ST)
For some reason I've been drafted into another league and I now for some fucking bizarre reason I cannot access the draft lobby
You're definitely getting better at this Pleb. Stop drafting Adam Thielen though
Zay Jones.
I'm a twit
Evans and Landry out is fucking shite.
Do I go with Maclin or Mixon? The alternative is to drop someone (Bortles most likely, but I shouldn't really neglect back up QBs as my 2 starters share a bye week) and add either Jason Witten or Robert Kelley, someone like that.
Already put in Bilal Powell for one of them.
Edit- John Brown is also there.
Hurts me so bad in one league as I only have Ajayi, Derrick Henry and Sproles in one team :\
Why they couldn't move the game to one of the stadiums that's empty this weekend I don't know.
16 straight weeks is going to be hard on them 2. Especially as both would ideally like to be earning a wild card spot.
That's probably going to ruin both teams in the last month of the regular season
The urge to start Matt Forte in my leagues this week is disturbingly rising...
