All of their defenders are very average but are known names. Joao Mario is alright but way way way overrated. As is Kondogbia.
Candreva and Icardi are excellent as are Perisic and Brozovic but underneath that it's a bit style over substance.

The BBC have him as a winger and the official club site are saying attacker. Wherever he actually plays it's safe to assume it's an attacking role, so that goal return is underwhelming.
So in the space of 48 hours we look like we've gone from getting our two top targets, to completely giving up on one and dropping down to our 2nd choice instead of paying an extra £5m.

Spending £100m and the thick end of £300k a week on Salah and Van Dijk isn't doing it right, in any world. It's daft. They're a shambles, no doubt (mostly due to being leaky as fuck), but not signing those two is hardly an indictment if selling clubs are going to take the piss. Transfers are a mugs game.
