So nXt takeover?
Yay or Nay.
So nXt takeover?
Yay or Nay.
Public holiday tomorrow so i'll stay up.
I was considering staying up as I don't start work until 2 but I think I'll just set an alarm, get up and watch it and then I can flick through the hours of shite they'll be padding it out with.
Awkward moment during the induction speech for DDP.
Page videoed literally everything.....
Lets not go there Eric.
I'm off tomorrow, but I'm doing the same as @Ian and just watching it in the morning.
I flicked through NXT this morning and I wasn't massively impressed - I'm not too aware of some of the wrestlers now (I like Nakamura, Roode, Young and a few others) and I don't watch consistently enough to know about Ember Moon, Sanity as a group, the Authors of Pain, Andrade Almas and others like that.
Drew McIntyre was in the crowd and shown on camera, and Nigel McGuinness said Alistair Black 'was going to be one to watch here in Ring of Honor'
Drew's officially signed, so not too surprising.
Shame, because he was great in WCPW.
What time does this all kick off tonight anyway?
I got all comfortable, whacked some nibbles in the over with expert timing so as to be hot and ready for the start of the show.
Then I waited.
And waited.
And then I twigged.
Yesterday was Satuarday.
Browning, do yourself and the forum a favour and don't bother watching tonight.
I'm pretty much resigned to the fact I'll be staying up for it. It'll be shite whenever I watch it so I may as well get it out the way.

I'm not one to moan but the preshow matches should be on the main show. It really seems quite an underwhelming card although I read a column on one of the sites that made me look forward to the HHH v Rollins a bit more.

Quite a good read, I thought.
From that I'm looking forward to the RAW Women's match, the US Title match, the ladder match (more for the stipulation because I don't give a shit about any of the three teams), HHH Vs Rollins (sort of) and the Cena match, though that'll be ruined if Cena and Nikki squash them. Hopefully at least a few of those won't disappoint.
Just watched NXT. The tag title match was excellent, even if the ending better suits the long term story rather than the match itself. Everything else was pretty good, Asuka winning hopefully means she'll take her unbeaten streak up to one of the main rosters. Title match was also very good, I'll be amazed if Nakamura doesn't turn up somewhere on Monday/Tuesday, hopefully Smackdown as they could do with a big name face.
It's Mania tonight, right? How many hours is it supposed to last? Might stay up for a bit to join Browning in trashing the whole thing.
New Day hosting it would have been funny six months back or so. It's a rather tired act these days.
It'll all be worth it when Seth's knees go during the match, Undertaker retires after a superman punch and Shane jumps off something he shouldn't.
Have I missed anything?
You know WWE don't value you when they stop showing your match to instead show an advert for a Women's match later on the same show you're already watching.
Have I missed Aries/Neville? Literally the only match I was looking forward to![]()

Just go back.
The director needs a good hard kick in the balls as usual. Show on the ropes, Strowman charging him and it cuts to a different camera.
12, yeah. I only realised that due to this thread.
Crowd is dead for this battle royal. Not sure I like the outdoor events.
That bloke is the biggest pleb in rasslin'.
What the fuck have I just watched?
It starts.![]()
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed that because Braun didn't win. It was just fucking mental.
Mojo
That must be the shittest run in ever.
So I seem to of missed the battle royal![]()
What the fuck is up with HBK?
Jinder
Anyone suggest somewhere I could watch this?
It won't be because the next one is in the building where the streak ended.
RAW women's match first?
If so Charlotte wins. New Day![]()
AJ V Shane first. wtf?
The guy who unquestionably should be main eventing the show is opening the show with Shane O Mac.
Good work, WWE.
This commentary feels so fucking off. Vince to call and audible and send out JR mid-match?
To be fair, that looked fucking painful. He just slid across the table and landed on the floor.
Holy shit. Shane attempting a shooting star press. I didn't see that coming in a millionion years.
That was pretty good tbf.
Lesnar will be seething.
Pretty good match but the commentary totally ruined it for me. I'm sure we're stuck with them for every Smackdown match, but I really hope not.
Great opener, much better than i expected and much better than it had any right to be, really.
We're going in hot here lads.
