You can but the texture will be a bit grainy.
You can but the texture will be a bit grainy.
That's what I thought would probably happen. Probably won't bother then.
Couldn't you blend it? That would make it finer.
I don't have a blender.
Separate the chocolate and caramel from the biscuit. Melt the former, smash the latter to bits in a bowl, and proceed as instructed.
Mortar and pestle?
If you've 'got some flour kicking about' you leave it in the cupboard. Have a wank if you're that bored.
So keep going. Magic will sort you some videos.
I'm ready to go to war against Quinoa. It's an absolutely awful product. Who goes, "You know what this rice needs? Crunchiness.". It's got to the point where people think it's acceptable to serve a quinoa salad instead of a taboule or one of it's many not shit friends.
Also the fact that it's Keenwah not Kwi-Noah just makes it that extra level of hateful.
edit: Oh the threads moved onto the Mediocre Boydy Bake Off. My comments still stand even if they are a little redundant.
Do you not makes soups Boyd?
No but even when I did/if I ever do, I wouldn't blend them.
He's from Northern Ireland. Soup there is whole veg, water, and barley.
Oh right, didn't realise that was a culinary faux pas!

I didn't say it was, I'm just saying I wouldn't blend them.
I didn't like the tone of the post.
I've never understood blending soups.
Chunky is king.
I don't blend all soups, just when it's required.
You can do both. Blended chestnut soup with a load of potato, carrot, some broad beans, and strips of beef thrown in is great. My aunt does it at Christmas every year, though being a vegetarian she omits the beef in her own pot, and it's always superb.
Both is fine, especially a pea and ham soup but I just don't get fully blended soups.
I've been pronouncing it 'Queen Oh' which now feels quite embarrassing.
Went to Almost Famous in Manchester yesterday lunchtime, the 'Good Morning America' burger includes a poptart and cheerios and appears to cater exclusively to twats
It wasn't that bad.
That looks horrific.![]()
'I just picked the breakfast crap off.'
They were all on the side when it came out, mainly because it all fell apart. All the other burgers had Frazzles in too, but I didn't bother as that sounded a bit weird.
Yeah I agree, Frazzles do sound weird compared to a poptart.
Heron have got a job lot of this in, and, whilst the branding is nothing short horrific, the vanilla custard one is incredible. Has anybody had it?
Custard flavoured ice cream sounds all kinds of amazing, get it bought, I'll even send you some cash if the giro won't cover it.
I bought some (I'm eating it with apple crumble as we speak), because Heron is amazing and they're going for a quid a tub. Nobody else seems to be buying it because it's obviously too new and RADICAL, so I might pack the freezer with it. The dog likes ice cream and custard, so I'll say it's for him when he comes back.
How does custard flavoured ice cream work? Isn't ice cream essentially made from a custard base anyway (if done properly)?
It's in a tub and you eat it with a spoon.
Couldn't you do that with a tub of custard?
You certainly can with the excellent Alpro vanilla stuff.
Yes, I am a grown man.
Did anyone ever try that Custard Creme spread from Tesco? There was a Bourbon one too.
Less of that or I'll tell that Jane Austen on your money woman about your hate crimes.
I made custard once (for a large tart) and it is probably the greatest thing I have ever made.
After filling the pastry I sat in front of about 10 people at our house just eating the leftovers right from the pan. They probably all thought I was a cunt for not even letting them try but they'd have had to kill me to get to it.
I sometimes even buy those cold custard pots and eat them.
Not as great as the home-made stuff but it's still glorious.
Custard is dog shit. I'd rather have some of that flavouring they put in medicine to taste like Banana.
What kind of wrong'un doesn't like custard?
This turned out surprisingly well. Quinoa, bacon, feta cheese, peas, fresh basil+coriander and crushed almonds all mixed together with a dressing of olive oil, lemon juice, honey and salt. Tossed it with some fresh baby spinach leaves and it came up a treat.
It was a large serving, so my wife took the leftovers to work for her and her assistant and they both enjoyed it so much that a new batch has been demanded of me.
Ah man, I always get this craving for Spring Quinoa Sallads.
Chicky? Too much time with the kid, magic mate.
Done some pulled pork (wanker) for tomorrow lunch, had to shred it this morning due to not having the time to do it later. I couldn't tell if I was nauseous or hungry by the smell and sight of it at 7am.
Does anyone here make their own ice cream? Trying blood orange ice cream (paired with dark chocolate ice cream makes for a chocolate orange master-class) on holiday has convinced me to buy a machine.
Possibly the wrong thread, but green tea and almond milk is pretty nice. Unsweetened isn't as good but healthier.
