Why is David Johnson sat down whenever the Cards are near the end zone?
Why is David Johnson sat down whenever the Cards are near the end zone?
Because Bruce Arians doesn't like winning. Or my fantasy team.
Williams refusing to go out of bounds again![]()
That's harsh on Melvin Gordon to not give him the score after that hit. At least he got it next time though.
Dez will probably be having a go at Williams again on the sidelines.
I feel like I've heard Chris Canty's name on bad plays at least once every week so far.
---
That Winston sack with him wobbling about with Broncos at his feet was hilarious.
Lynch has looked alright so far.
Lightning delay in Tampa again![]()
Cardinals v Panthers is going to be a game for the first overall pick this year.
Nice of the Rams to try to keep things interesting with all those penalties.
They just want to get another turnover.
Could have at least given Melvin a few carries before they turned the ball over.
Okay, that one counts.
We're going to win a game!
Didn't realise Julio Jones' next game is in Denver. Should be tasty.
Urge to bench, rising.
Wtf is wrong with OBJ.
Forsett has been cut by the Ravens. Seemed to be coming after he was deactivated.
Also means that Dixon is back \0/.
29 games since the Broncos have allowed a QB to have a passer rating of 100 or higher. And I think the other stat I posted a couple of weeks ago is now 3 passing touchdowns allowed in 7 games.
Can't wait for Julio Jones to ruin that this weekend with 600 receiving yards and eight touchdowns just to jinx the shit out of it.
Chargers have lost another player for the year. This time number 1 corner, Jason Verrett.
The new Ravens.
Melvin Gordon had better not be next.
Fucking hell, they're the Arsenal of the NFL.
This week will be a test of resolve. Obviously you don't build up these daft streaks by panicking and shitting the bed over a form offense so I don't really see that much being changed. Harris will probably follow Jones and you'd think they'll probably plan for a touch extra safety cover but ultimately the success of the defence is the balance of having genuine man-capable defensive backs who both allow the pass rush to do it's thing and are at the same time supported by the pass rush being so monstrous.
The defense looks as good as it did last year (albeit the record of the teams they've faced is collectively sub-par so far) even without Malik Jackson. Derek Wolfe has really stepped up his game and Shane Ray has been good as well. He's had a lot of mentoring from DeMarcus Ware. I read an interview with Ware saying that at first he thought Ray wasn't paying attention or taking stuff in because he wasn't taking notes or anything but then everything he'd suggested that Ray do got done during the game and they just seem to have a very good relationship.

David Johnson & Larry Fitzgerald
Everything else about that game was pretty average though.
America's Game is on on Thursday at 11.30pm on Sky if anybody's interested.
Notre dame are playing North Carolina state on what can only really be described as a swamp at the moment. Jesus.
Looks like Cam is out of Mondays game. I had heard it was a pretty bad concussion so it's not all surprising.
Who's the backup?
Fucking hell, still? I thought he was at least in his 50's now. Was he not a backup to Tim Couch in his day?
What makes it worse is the collision was completely avoidable. Cam basically tried to stroll in through a defender and got absolutely licked.
Another +1 for the Fitzgerald love though. He's bloody good in the slot.
Paxton Lynch starts for the Broncos tomorrow.
Injury or just them knowing they can chance it because of that defense?
They thought Siemian was in with a decent chance of making it for tomorrow but I guess he hasn't recovered quite as quickly as they hoped. Partly they know the defence should help look after Lynch tp an extent, partly they can - based on the first few games - trust the offensive line more than expected and partly just that Lynch did a pretty good job in the half a game he played last week.
All the talk has been that it's still Siemian's job to lose but you'd think he'll be worrying if Denver wins with Lynch throwing 250+ plus a touchdown or two and/or plays mistake-free.
Just read that tomorrow is Reggie Bush's first game in LA since.....
Well ever, since none of those other games happened.
It's brilliant that they sent back their copy of his Heisman trophy, while still displaying OJ's.
Drop it mate, the glove didn't fit.
I genuinely thought Reggie retired at the end of last season. Though looking at his opportunities this season, he might as well have.

Kap could start next week.
The video in that is genuinely sickening.
Gabbert runs around for a while, that's their best offence? Blaine Gabbert has a bunch of rushing yards but I don't want him to have a bunch of rushing yards, I want him to have passing yards.
Yeah Colin would be so different and so much more effective.
Never forget.

It seems that many people forget about the negative if a player doesn't play for a bit.
I'm probably a world beater.
Shareece Wright inactive today![]()
That throw from Roethlisberger was a thing of beauty.
Those Steelers jerseys never get good.
The Jets can't defend a deep ball for shit this year.
I knew the Vikings would be a defensive machine this year, but when did Bradford learn to play QB?
Giving up an 85 yard punt return for a TD![]()
