I think it's a smart idea. They weren't getting the money they asked for from sports broadcasters so why not give it away for free and gain control over the ad market. The people who want to watch it won't not watch it so who does it hurt.
They say they've got 17 million subscribers as well so they can't be doing too badly.
On 5live this morning the sports reporter was saying something along the lines of when he was watching only about 1000 other people were according to the stats they were showing. However, they did a terrible job of promoting they had it. On the other hand lol at SKY showing repeats of the other majors all weekend.Originally Posted by phonics
