Everyone should order some TTH cards to leave in places

I ordered ten free business cards from MOO.com and they are great. Postage is free too so there's literally nothing to pay and you get 10 cards printed front and back with whatever you want on them.

Here are some pictures of me unboxing mine:

The quality of the photos really doesn't do the quality of the cards justice either. The Lofty pic is one side, and James' missus is on the reverse. It's kind of a shame to just leave these in pubs or wherever and hope someone finds them, that's how great they are. The uploader on the website makes it seem like there's going to be a MOO watermark stripe along the base of the back but there isn't any watermarking at all. They're really fantastic quality too.

I know some of you won't bother with this (for fear of real life catching up with you, or being too grown up or whatever) but I hope some people actually order some. Would be good to get some new people on here, plus imagine how funny it would be if you found something like one of my cards up there on a train and when you visited the URL on there it was an awesome forum full of nerdy cool guys. Great, yeah? We might even get some girls.

My advice is that you should stop posting here if you consider it such a trial on your patience, and you can leave those of us who aren't constantly prophesying the board's imminent demise to it.

If you're going to keep posting, then I suggest you find something more worthwhile to contribute because it's now at 3,917 posts (at time of writing) and of those you'd be lucky to find 10 that have added anything.

I very much don't believe my own inputs to be superior to everyone else. I would also certainly never claim that every post I make on here is worthwhile, but I do like to think that I at least try to contribute actively to threads and discussions. I may not always succeed, but that's certainly my intention a lot of the time. And I would say the vast majority of people would consider their own contributions in the same way.

This is in stark contrast to the perpetual sniping you incorporate into every fucking post, alongside your almost continual advocation that the board is on its last legs and needs shooting to put it out of its misery.

There is no stronger indication that the board is going strong, albeit in a period of transition as people get older and have less time to contribute, than the fact we've just raised over £500 for Baz in about 48 hours to sustain the board henceforward. You've been prophesying the board's impending doom for months, and it really needs to stop. If you can't, then perhaps you should ask yourself what you're getting out of this place and whether it merits another 4,000 posts over the next six months.
