I didn't realise for a very long time that bananas in the fridge wasn't the norm.
For me, it's all fruits and salad items. Butter, yes. Honey, no. Sauce, yes. Don't ever have eggs.
Is eyedrops a thing? Or is a joke that whooshed me?

Some eyedrops are recommended to be kept in the fridge.
If you have eyedrops for whatever reason they are meant to be kept in the fridge, but why Baz included them in the poll IDK.
Fair enough. Then I imagine I definitely would. I'm a stickler for instructions, even when they're of questionable value (I don't know if this is the case for eyedrops, but they're on the list, so I have to assume that not everyone keeps them in the fridge).
I'm also confused that people wouldn't keep butter in the fridge. Doesn't it melt if you leave it out?
Are you in the UK at the moment? I lose track. Even on the hottest of summer's days in the UK it'll only get soft rather than actually melting.
Nope. I finished my PhD there and came back and got an academic job in Sydney. The UK was nice, but I prefer the lifestyle here - this isn't a criticism so much as an assessment of personal suitability.
But that's a fair point. I assume on cold days in the UK it's too cold for butter to melt if kept out?
Our butter is permanently out on the top and I've never seen it actually melt, as I said it just gets soft.
Fair enough. I learned a valuable lesson this day.
Where do people stand on peanut butter?
Cupboard, definitely cupboard.
It's that kind of thinking that's to blame for you being such a ravaged wreck of a human being.
