    Neil Lennon sacked

Finally we have got rid of him. Jimmy Phillips in charge for the rest of the season. Should make relegation even more interesting.

I wonder if Jose is worried with Lennon now available for the united job. Interesting times.

This really didn't need a thread.

This definitely requires a thread. Is Neil Lennon the greatest northern Irish man ever?

Taking that job must be one of the worst career moves of all time.

So many shouts for him to replace Pearson last summer instead of crazy foreigner Ranieri. Maybe we'd have wrapped up the title by now.

Good shout. They were top of the league at the time, we played them the game after Freedman left (his staff were still in charge) and they were excellent, played us off the pitch.

That's the season where Holloway took them to the Premiership. The moral of the story is - stay the fuck away from Bolton.

In all aspects of life not just football.

A new manager comes in and instantly the team is revitalised.
