Is thinking of removing it's 140 character limit.
Is this the end?

It's a terrible idea.
Never understood Twitter. It's just Facebook fan pages but with a limit on what you can do. Why not just use Facebook?
I don't understand the appeal at all. What am I missing?
Because you can't just follow celebs on Facebook without adding them and them accepting.
Even without it's character limit (which is a good thing imo) it's still totally unique.
Best thing to ever happen it. Finally.
Good news for Gary Lineker, who'll get to read the word 'shat' so many more times in each reply he gets.
Well, why would you? Facebook is shit for that sort of thing.
Why is it?
This is what i mean. You can do everything on Twitter on Facebook, including people liking you without you accepting.
Because 'the feed' is shite.
My Twitter feed is perfect for me finding out stuff. It's easy as fuck to follow what I want (or not). I hardly ever have to leave my feed.
My feed on facebook is quality now, cus it is almost entirely posts from the UK Simpsons II group.
It's free, mate.
I can't comment on how easy or not it is to follow celebrities on Twitter, but for sport and tech it's unparalleled in its delivery of news, information and discussion.
Facebook seems good because celebrities can post longer, more meaningful stuff. It probably has better video integration, too. And I would guess you have a better reach on Facebook.
Yeah the celebrity thing wasn't my own point of view. I love it for info. Facebook is nothing more to me than a chance to perv on current or ex-colleagues/mates etc and indulge in a bit of narcissism.
I mostly just follow comedy accounts. Some football stuff and some political stuff as well. But politics is fucking boring on twitter so I'm steadily unfollowing them.
Google 'weird twitter' and start following some of those and follow the people they follow and retweet.
I used to not see the point either and I still don't think there is that much for following celebrities or news sources (they just fucking spam you) but there's some really funny people out there.
It's also great when something like piggate happens.
Can't see it making much difference for most of the cunts who use it.
I just follow accounts of interest and use it as a news feed; I've never posted anything myself and probably never will.
@causticbob
People saying that Facebook is in any way equal to Twitter doesn't understand Twitter. You can actually see everyone you follow instead of having a computer work out what you'd like to see for one.
This happened yesterday:
Had to turn notifications off on my phone. It was driving me mental, not sure how celebs put up with it.
I find Twitter only useful when a BIG event happens.

I'm using Reddit a lot more recently. Mostly Askreddit and Iama stuff.
Me too. Mainly watch/hearpeopledie and lesbiannsfw.
TIL is quite good too, plus of course it's invaluable for finding decent streams.
I'm banned from /r/LifeProTips for mocking how either obvious or terrible their tips are.
I generally use it as a news feed like a few people have said, i do post now and then. I follow lots of things, from IT stuff to football. Add me if you wish.
Good day all.
What's Reddit. I mean what's it good for? I'm very shit at Internet.
Isn't it just a forum?
Didn't realise how shit Pepe was at the internet.
Reddit is, I suppose, a sort of Forum in the sense that vBulletin is, but the posts are order from popularity (up- and downvotes) rather than chronology.
You can? Well, I guess that sort of defeats the purpose though (which is the up- downvoting).
Just got a retweet and a reply from Diamond Dallas Page. Life has peaked
bit desperate mate
He also retweeted this person
Show some respect, son.
How can she be bored on the Emmerdale set?
It's down
Any of you know any decent football related stuff to follow? I'm mostly looking for streams, highlights and articles.
@retiredfootbsllers I just followed this account best one ever!!!
I was just checking out the latest cm01/02 update on thesetpieces and look who I see:

His moment of fame being accompanied by a spelling mistake is a nice touch.
Fucking auto correct bullshit.
P.S. I'm FAMOUS.
Still a step down from being quoted in The Guardian newspaper as 'As a commenter on an Arsenal fan site, FreudianTrip, put it,"....."'
I always thought that was Mellin.
