I've had 8 bottles of stout I picked up when I went to Lidl for bread earlier, so bed is beckoning.
I've had two cans of beer, some Doritos, hot dogs and cleaned the oven. It's been a thrilling evening.
Went a pub the other day for my dad's birthday and they had "raspberry infused stout" on draught.
We turned our noses up at that, yet got some pale ale that had jasmine green tea in it, because we're proper blokes.

Looks very strong. I can't do anything over 5% as it just tastes like petrol after that.
I found this one in the city on tap and got a 2l bottle filled. Could definitely get the aftertastes and was lovely. Need to track down some bottles locally.

I had some 7.2% stuff I got for Christmas last week and it tasted alright. A bit bitter but nothing unmanageable. The major problem with them is that your eyelids get heavy after about three.
Double Hop Monster, it was called. I got a box of those and a box of Yardbird, which is dishwater from a particularly skanky Indian kitchen.
They're the ones I really can't do (judging by the name), the really hoppy ones like the pale ales. Been trying out a good few stouts and blondes lately but even some of the blondes are verging on that twang too.
The place where I got the Coffee and Oatmeal stout filled also had an ale that was 8.5% and I could smell it as they were pulling it for some guy beside me. He was getting 8 litres of it
