Horizon Zero Dawn confirmed for PC. Might need to give it a bash.

Yes I try that but keep getting jumped from the side, or run straight into a herd of machines that stomp me. Also I still miss a lot with the slow-time thing and the canisters are always below the mahinosaurs so I can't seem to hit them.
Basically - I'm not a very adept gamer. Also, I fucking hate doing stealth. Mage/Warrior all the way in all RPGs.
No finesse - all gung ho brawl and damage.
Sounds like you need upgrade bear armour for tankiness and maybe some blizzard potions for a bit more reaction time, mate.
Fuck youuuuuuuuuu
I so, so do need that
Dunno. I'm following the main questline mostly, which has quests way below my level. I'm currently level 18 and the main quest is for like 15 or so it says.
I did go into one Corruption Zone that was for level 20 and they fucking stomped me (literally, was big fucking birdosaurs there), but apart from that, I think I'm just a bit shit at the controls. I keep fucking up the camera, activating the little Focus-thing instead of attacking, and I find it very hard to not get detected when sneaking up on things so I always end up in the middle of 4 machinosaurs attacking me from different directions at once.
I did eventually add some "Wires" or something to my gear, and buy a outfit, which seemed to make me slightly more powerful. I don't quite understand how you compare weapons so I'm not sure how good the one I have is compared to some of the ones you can buy. Though I seem to constantly miss parts for the "Very rare" items.
I'm doing a little bit better though in general, but I still die quite often, and it's frustrating when you have trekked across a lot of landscape to die from a Sawtooth or what they call them (fuck those things) and end up back in a campfire miles back, and have to re-trekk.
Toussaint really grew on me. Who did you end up romancing in the main quest of the core game? If anyone.
Yen.
And Toussaint is just a lovely place to ride about in the sun. I'd forgotten there is an NPC wandering about Beauclair called "Ponce."
I've brought the Ori games when The Will of the Wisp got released so I plan on them sometime this week.
Why have I got an extra copy of The Blind Forest?
I'm about 4 hours into the new Ori. It's good shit.
Fucking beautiful as always too.
Activate Windows.
Never. They've had enough money from me over the years.
Picked up Far Cry: New Dawn. Pretty much the same as 5, which is fine by me. Thought I might as well get some prep in for a post-apocalyptic wasteland...
Mate, we don't have guns. You're better off starting a melee build in Fallout.
I'll make my own saw launcher
This game seems way harder than 2 but I can't tell if that's just because I finished that one with good guns.
Main Blood & Wine gripe: FUCK OFF ARCHESPORES.
I think that I am nearing a thousand matches in Street Fighter and I am still stuck in the bronzes. Fuck me, it is a hard game.
Granblue Versus looks good, but I am not paying $80 for it.
Anyone getting on the new Doom?
I've still not played the first ny Doom but I am eyeing it up.
Watched a bloke finish Doom Eternal yesterday and I'm tempted. It's so fun to watch, although the platforming looks a little Batmobile.
Is Madden 20 worth it? And by worth it, I mean worth installing fucking Origin on my computer for.
If you like a pretty broken game with stupid X-Factor skills that make the game way too Arcadey then maybe.
That doesn't sound very promising...
It's the worst Madden I've played, I hate it.
I'm not dipping into 21.
I dunno what the last iteration of an EA sports game I bought was, probably a Madden ages ago, but I struggle to see me buying one in future unless it was specifically for multiplayer with people I know.
I just miss my sports games. There doesn't seem to be a single good option left.
Agreed, they just don't have the appeal they used to. Also, after a few games it all feels a bit pointless, like you are not working towards anything.
Checked my stats for Street Fighter, and I have won 51% of my last 100 matches. It doesn't feel that way at all, I feel like everyone is constantly trouncing me.
Pro Evo for life.
In really ebjyoubg warzone right now. Im staying up until 3 am in the morning on a school night to play it. I haven't done that since GTA Vice City
There's a very high chance I'm never going to play Half-Life: Alyx so I've just read up on what happens.

Decided now's the perfect time to potter around the back of a Grand Prix Legends season. Kyalami's just been done. I like that circuit. I was DQ'ed after about a lap. The way you have to slide those cars around is counter-intuitive to how I've taught myself to drive. Looks decent for a 20 year old game and the sound is incredible.
GPL is a work of art. It's bloody hard though.
Aye, you've got to wrap your head around the grip levels for starters. The tyres are just for show.
Also those tracks with tires on the edge that behave like concrete are brutal.
I finished Monaco so consider that an achievement. Just the one lap down in a 7 lap race. Retirements put me up to 16th. I don't know how they manage that quick chicane without spinning out. 1:43 lap time. Awful but I'm taking any track time I can get.
Also that last third or so of its main story, the pacing is all over the place and I don't think always plays to their own strengths.

Still, all done now. Heart of Stone is probably the best bit of the game but Toussaint is comfortably the loveliest bit to be in and the ending is great.
Looking for something completely different to follow up with so I've installed Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Titanfall 2 so I'll get onto one or both of those next.
To be fair that would be a fair name for them.
I'd held strong until the TV show. That tipped me over the edge.
No regrets. Just confirmed it as my favourite game ever.
I thought you might appreciate this. I’ve introduced my mate Simon to World of Warcraft. This is a short video clip of how it’s going:
https://m.twitch.tv/clip/InventiveEn...erfBlueBlaster
A bit of context cos I know most of you’ve never played it:
Me and another max level player were running his little level 9 character through a dungeon to level him up faster. Just before the video starts I asked him if he had completed the quests he had, you can see it in the chat history. Video starts and he replies saying he needs “hungerers heart” from Taragaman The Hungerer. Me and the other guy we were with go and stand on Hungerer’s dead body and I say “he’s here” for Si to come and get the heart. He then goes completely the wrong way and jumps into a group of baddies who instantly kill him. It almost feels staged, like a mini Leroy Jenkins tribute.

I'm a twit
Made it to Silver on Street Fighter.
Some proper intense matches lately. Love this game.
Playing through the Titanfall 2 campaign and it's loads of fun. You just constantly feel like a badass. I did at one point not properly look what I was running into so I did a wallrun, double-jumped to another wall, ran along that, landed, slid and murdered my target with a shotgun in one smooth movement.
Sadly my target turned out to be a harmless maintenance robot.
