The N64 version of Excitebike (?) was pretty good.

Further into God Of War now and it's starting to open up and combat is beginning to become more nuanced and tactical.
The run controls are a bit clunky and the action to get your shield out could be quicker. I'm trying to train myself to whip it out at the first sign of trouble.
Just encountered a massive dragon that gave me a fairly shite reward
^Its a bit good innit.
I’m still at the start (just met Brok) but already feel like a boss.

Ok, just got to fight a dragon - that was mega. The game is technically astonishing.
Atreus (who I'm assuming will be the future star of the next few games), when upgraded, is starting to become reliably useful too
Beyond Two Souls needs to get finished today. I'm fed up with it. There is no narrative to that game. It's just Ellen Page and Ghost Boy solving problems they had no right to get involved in. "Oh, this side-plot with the Navajo is kinda related to us. Tee hee. Here's the big where I'm homeless but also a messiah ... to the homeless."
I've seen enough of Detroit to hate it. It's just Rosa Parks if she was white and an android.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance Talk to me.
It sounds right up my street in that your character is a bona-fide peasant that can't do anything. Anyone played it?
Yahtzee's review of it was entertaining. He went fucking IN on the combat system.
This. I really wanted to like it but it was clunky as fuck. This was a couple of months ago though. Whether they've patched it up since then or not I'm not sure.
The combat was actually one of the things I did enjoy about it, strangely. I thought the system they had devised for the swordplay was really clever and original. The archery was fucking woeful though.
I think he gave it a few points for novelty and originality but ultimately said it was complete bobbins.
I remember reading a thing with the devs saying they were setting the Witcher 3 as their benchmark when making it, and the guy actually said "Yeah, turns out you don't just make a Witcher 3 at the first attempt."
And the Witcher 3 combat isn't exactly its strongest point to begin with.
My post was more a reference to polishedness for that sort of game but you're not wrong.
Ah, The Witcher 2. One of the few single player games I didn't pirate because I wanted to support their policies. Couldn't beat the tutorial.
Finished the 1st one (had played it when it first came out) and started the 2nd one, and I feel the latter is a massive step up. I quite like the armor mechanic (which seems to be a hot topic) and definitely prefer it over the CC-lock kind of combat of the first one, but most of all I prefer the quest system in the new one. I understand the idea of not handholding the player through the questing and I don't mind it, but the first one was just so muddled at times. Also I think the pacing of the main story in the first one was a bit off. It was pretty clear what was going to happen from very early on. Also the singleplayer is actually singleplayer in the 2nd one rather that weird 2-player singleplayer system of the 1st one.
I'd love to play Original Sin but it all just looks so daunting to learn considering I've played a total of about an hour of those style of games and being in my mid 30s I don't know if I can be fucked.
Mate I'd be pirating fuck out of it
Ye it's pretty straightforward. The turn-based side of things will seem a bit strange to you at first, but it's still easy to get used to.
There's also sensible difficulty options so you can turn it down if the combat side of things seems daunting.
I've just found out my copy of Resident Evil 2 (Claire's disc) has split in two. Oops. Playing through Leon's stuff in the hope that I can actually finish it.
EDIT: Well, that was easy. I have no idea why I packed it in. Enjoyed that.

Vampyr, the new thing from the Life is Strange people, looks very interesting. The optional levelling mechanic alone is original enough that I'm in.
It sounds like I'll have enough gripes that it'll be a Steam sale game for but from what I've seen I hope it does well enough for them to polish up and improve for a sequel.
Spy Party is really quite fun. I can imagine it being great at a party with a couple of laptops.
Oh. My. Days.
Crackdown 3 has been delayed till 2019. That games never coming out.
Rumours of Skate 4 incoming? I’d probably play that.
I'm a twit
#Skate4 has been a thing for years.
I’d love a new Skate game though.
Jurassic World Evolution looks like it's gonna be good banter. Going to get it when it comes out providing the reviews aren't dire, but the previews look promising.
Hitman 2 confirmed. Yay. And the final Season of The Walking Dead. Might force my hand to get season three.
There’s been a season three?
Wait, where am I upto? Last thing that happened wasToggle SpoilerWhich was that the ending to?
I'm a twit
Sounds like season one. Kenny had a moustache then.
Oxenfree is great. I was talking on here recently about games you can rattle through in one sitting and this is another. Good stuff.
Okay, I wasn't expecting Resident Evil 3 on easy to be this generous. "Here's three clips for the machine gun, three other guns with ammo headstarts and infinite ribbons." Thanks, Capcom.
A new Frontier is the 3rd official one, but there were 2 spin offs, one between each season.
Season 1, 400 Days, Season 2, Micchonne and then New Frontier (AKA Season 3)
mate fuck a beyond good and evil new trials game woop
Okay, looks like Sony has the last rumoured From thingy. Sekiro and Metal Wolf Chaos are out of the bag so it's either a Demon's Souls remaster or Bloodborne 2.
I'd say Bloodborne 2, if they release Demon's some cunt will actually have a heart attack.
I dunno. Bluepoint announced they were working on a big project and I can't see From working a double-shift between Bloodborne 2 and Sekiro. They've not got the manpower.
It's definitely Demon's. It'll be by the people who remade Shadow of the Colossus. #ITK
A Sega E3 montage without a Sonic announcement?
They've added COD Black ops 3 to the PS+, is it worth the four weeks it'd take to download?
