Good man.
They put the Crip Walk in. It's been long enough you can do that without getting capped by some Bloods.
As long as I can continue shushing people in the WINNERS CIRCLE it's good to me.
Really thought I had the purple stake done and dusted this morning with a pair setup.
Sadly I had the bull as a joker and the boss blind which sets money to $0 if you play a pair fucked me hard. Ante 7 loss which is the furthest I've been.
Its why you always pump planets even for hands you ain't playing - contingency plan innit.
I did do that but the only xMult I had managed to find was the one that gives 2x only if there's a pair so just couldn't scale up enough sadly.
Getting closer though.
You got this, henchboy
I appreciate this is very niche but I’ve been absolutely loving Hardcore Classic World of Warcraft.
Today I got my Whirlwind Axe.

I'm back into Vampire Survivors. It's been a while so there's a few new stages I've not played and characters to unlock. I've still yet to beat a single Death, though.
So we’re getting Classic Classic Warcraft next week.
For those who don’t know the game came out in 2005 and then an expansion called The Burning Crusade in 2007 and then more and more after that. In 2019 they relaunched the original game, despite their still being a current iteration of the game - albeit massively different and now referred to as Retail. Anyway, the Classic relaunch was a huge success which progressed on into the fourth expansion that originally came out in 2010 and some people still play that.
However there’s also an option to play the original version without expansions, which many do. They’re opening three completely fresh servers that replicate the 2019 initial release, before any expansions and before any in-game content (ie raid dungeons) was available - one that allows PVP killing, one that doesn’t (PvE) and a hardcore (dead forever).
So WoW players have the option to play *deep breath* Retail, Classic Cataclysm, Classic Era (no expansions) PVP, Classic Era PVE, Classic Season of Discovery (some remixed version of Classic I’ve never touched), Classic Hardcore, Fresh Classic PVE, Fresh Classic PVP, and Fresh Classic Hardcore.
While it’s nice to have so many options, it completely splits the player base. I’ve ran a poll on Reddit to try and gauge whether I should stick to my existing Hardcore server where my guild is awesome, or try one of the Fresh servers. In all honesty, I think it will boil down to whether I can grab the name ‘Baz’ for my character on the Fresh PVP server.

Just like Half-Life, Valve have dropped an update for Half-Life 2's 20th anniversary. By the sounds of it, the two ( ) Episodes come as part of the package now. 3.5 hours of commentary nodes to trigger, a documentary to watch and they've sharpened up some of the old demos.
EDIT: And reprinting the book, Raising the Bar. I'd rather they just made that widely available instead of some prestige hardback bollocks.

Yeah I didnt realise that all of the new stuff was to be locked behind a paid battle pass only.
I have absolutely zero interest in WarZone because I think it's bollocks and should be a completely separate game. Having the new weapons and such locked behind that and be able to be used in standard multiplayer is bullshit. Not even a way to earn the stuff in game unless you pay up.
Any of the PSers have the Portal? Looks like a nifty update with the cloud gaming changes.
WoW Fresh Classic Classic tonight.
aka Queue Simulator, most likely.

Some cuck had taken my name within 2 minutes of the launch so I’m Bbaz the orc warrior, but I don’t mind. Made my own guild.

I may regret asking, but what do you actually do in WoW?
I've always been told the MMO grind was endless fetch quests with the occasional big boss thing you and 20 mates try to take down.
Took me ages to finally beat purple stake on red deck and it barely took me any time to defeat orange deck.
The orange deck game was pretty nutty with my joker set up. Hanging Chad with Wee Joker fairly early, I then got ceremonial dagger which I kept feeding shit too (plus accidentally a Lucky Cat) and The Trio. Had the Wee Joker up to 1000 chips by the boss blind in ante 8 with dagger up to around 60 mult. Cleared it with one four of a kind.
Really fun seed.
Quests.
You get quests off NPCs in one area to kill things and collect stuff in that area, then when you’re a higher level you get quests to move to another area. Rinse and repeat. You can either do these quests on your own, or team up with upto 4 other players at a time. Every so often you collect a bunch of quests to do in dungeons where you must go in a group of 5 (1 tank, 1 healer, 3 DPS is the usual setup) to beat all the bosses in the dungeon and collect phat loot.
Then when you’re level 60 you do raids, which are 40-man (as opposed to 5-man) dungeons, where the bosses have specific mechanics you need to know to beat them (rather than just nuke them with damage like in the smaller dungeons) and you can get epic phat loot.
New World of Warcraft (known online as Retail) is rubbish (imo) but Classic WoW is the greatest game ever made and will never be topped. The Reid summed it up yesterday in a text:
Same game name just two massively different games

Up to the top 4.5% or so of Tekken 8 players in the world and I'm still garbage.
Woooooooooooooooo, Gold Stake beaten for the first time.
The two jokers not shown are The Trio and Constellation.
Also had Mail-In Rebate going into the boss blind (couldn't manage to get a decent uncommon for Baseball Card to proc so kept rolling econ) but it was sold to unlock the boss blind.
I still don't quite know what Bolatro is. I see cards but the gameplay makes it look like a slot machine.
I see STALKER 2 has been getting a lot of flowers online. Has anyone here dipped a toe?
Ten hours in. If it wasn't for Balatro it'd be my GOTY. Its incredible, tense, tough, bastard hard. Beautiful to look at in places.
I've a silly beast rig (4090, 7800x3D) so barely seen any bugs. Had a mission bug out, and a couple NPCs at knee height in the floor when talking to them but aside from that its been fucking sensational.
I want to get through the originals first. Gives 2 a chance to get patched up ... or jankier.
Got tired of losing in Tekken 2 and jumped in on Hades 2. God damn I hate how much this game ruins my life. It's so good. Still haven't beat the second boss though.
Immediately after posting this I got to the final bosses second form and seemingly ignored something because it killed me with a 999 damage attack.
I tried to play Zombies earlier. I mean what the fuck is that all about. Do people actually enjoy it?
Apparently they do. I have never been a fan. I did play it a bit last year when it was on the big warzone map and there was “missions” but even then I got bored VERY quickly.
I am still somewhat enjoying MP, despite working on sniper camo challenges. I hate sniping.
I played it once when I was reviewing WWII. It didn't do much for me.
I've finished Half-Life 2 now with the dev commentary. I love hearing the Valve guys talk shop and there's a couple of hints towards them seriously working on Half-Life 3.

After I did Gold Stake on the base deck I started just playing to unlock everything I hadn't. Managed to unlock most but I was still missing have $400, win in 12 rounds or fewer and $100m in one hand. Decided to focus on the last and I had been playing a lot of Plasma deck but I wasn't doing so well.
Was really struggling with the shift from chips to xMult in the mid-game but it finally clicked:
Was really fun and felt it could have gone longer had Hanged Man and Death popped more in tarot packs.
Got Bloodstone, Photograph and Blueprint fairly early which saw me blitz antes. Managed to add Hologram near the end and scooped up cards, then added Driver's Licence and a negative Hanging Chad in endless.
Downloading STALKER 2, mixed reviews. Anyone played it?
Scroll up about 5 posts
Sucks on the XSX apparently.
Sorry to bore you with more Balatro but this run is nuts:
Double Blueprinting Perkeo Cryptids to make loads of enhanced Aces is fun.
Then double blueprinting the 4x mult in game.
You're definitely autistic.
For enjoying one of the nominees (and my personal pick) for Game of The Year:

Maybe you should play something other than FM once in a while, mate.
I didnt expect to see AstroBot on that list. Fair play.
Is there a racing game on PS where you can just race through traffic like Forza?
Burnout Paradise? Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is far too dull.
The Playstation is 30 tomorrow. If you turn your PS5 on, it does the old boot up.
Remember getting my first PlayStation complete with the awesome Adidas Power Soccer
Finally got a warrior-looking hat.
