I hate PC gaming. I tried to install GTR as I didn't give it much attention back in 2004 when I bought it. It does not work on anything past Windows XP.
Can't you run it in compatibility mode or whatever it's called?
Downloaded that Football, Tactics & Glory demo, it's great.
Yeah I'm definitely getting the full game at some point.
I tried it very shortly. Is there anything else beyond boot it to your best striker and shoot?
I am sure you found this but:

The Crew 2 has all the attitude of Milhouses Dad after the divorce.
Does it have a demo tape? Oh, it's in open beta. That's a yes, then.
It's truly hateful. I got through the tutorial and I'm never touching it again.
Can't believe they made two Kane and Lynch games but never made a sequel to Freedom Fighters.
It was perfectly set up for a sequel too, with the glum ending Firaxis called canon but didn't actually put into their first XCOM game.
I don't know how to use the layoff pass and I'm being a proper mong lately by constantly drawing 0-0 to try and score a header for 30k.
Edit: Just did it Shame it was in a match the day after the fucking window closes.

After some more time with the demo, I'm liking it. I think I'll get the full version.
I just bought it as I completed the season. I really like it.
I just don't know if I wanna spend £16 on it, but I probably should. It would definitely eat all my spare time.
Finished The Bureau. Great fun. Definitely recommend it for the sale price.
I almost want to play it out of sheer curiosity now. Is every opinion I've ever heard about this game wrong or are you mental?
Its score on metacritic is 66%. It's not awful at all. I'm not saying it's brilliant but it's decent and I really enjoyed it. It's only about £4 on Steam, you might as well try it.
A 6/10 on metacritic is basically just a confirmation that the game works when you put it in the disc tray. The only website that I've heard of that gave it above a 7 is Game Informer. I really might have to try it.
BTW I'm not saying you're wrong or your opinion is inferior in any way, just interesting.
I'm not taking any offence or anything. I know it's not a great game. But it doesn't have to be great to be enjoyable. It probably lost marks in reviews due to having the XCOM name but not being anything like other XCOM games as well though.
Just give it a go.
I've just bought myself Unity of Command and Turmoil in the Steam sale.
Ian didn't you buy a TTHard game recently? Let's play whatever that was.
@Pepe Did you buy Mario Tennis yet? I'm picking it up tomorrow if you want to play.
Steam sale got some money out of me. Assetto Corsa runs surprisingly well.
Did you buy it yet, @phonics?
I like to platinum all the PS4 games I play. Ive completed the single-player portion of the game. GT Sport has three specific trophies which involve:
Getting 65 pole positions
Getting 91 race wins
Completing 322 races
This would be easy in single player but the trophies must be done online against other human opponents which are going to take an age and it's going to be extremely difficult and frustrating. The way online works is, there is a set number of races available per day it appeaers. Races are a minimum of 15 minutes long and there are 3 races per hour
Two races. Two pole positions. Two race wins. Two fastest laps.
Going to be a breeze
I'm a twit
You get it yet, dickhead? @phonics
I played a level of it. It's odd, not awful but I feel like I should be able to mow everyone down considering how bad they are at standing behind cover.
Mario Tennis on the other hand is absolutely wild. It's like Tennis meets Street Fighter.
After a further 21 races, I'm now on two race wins, four pole positions and three fastest laps. My ranking has increased so the opponents I'm being matched up with are now better, and im finishing outside the top 10 on a regular basis. May need to downgrade my rank by retirning from races so it puts me back in with the newbs.
It's a slightly odd fish but it looks fine and is well on the way to being what I expected, a bog standard solid 7/10 shooter.
Yeah, I'm getting shot of Darksiders and Dishonored. The former really, really, really drags and the latter just never grabbed me with its stealth.
Crash Bandicoot on the Switch is fucking mint
I know that no-one particularly care for ESPORTS but a 16 year old Italian just became the first non-Korean to get to a GSL (the Premier StarCraft 2 tournament) knockout round in 7 years. He was bought a plane ticket to South Korea for his 16th birthday, qualified and just knocked out the 2nd best player in the world.
He was 8 when the game came out.
