Where's Jon Dahl Tomasson from? Denmark? He seems the sort of player who'd have scored in a UEFA Cup final.

I remember Schalke doing reasonably well in a few - did they play Inter once? - but I have no idea about any of their players. Basturk (I know he was Leverkusen) for Turkey? Hasan Sas?

Sticking with Romania, they must have had one, Mutu or Radiciou?

When PSG won it I recall Djorkaeff scoring, but he's French, did someone like Okocha (did he play for them then?) get one? Only other players of that team I can think of a Leonardo and Jerome Leroy (both nations taken).

    Where was Nayim from?

Tomasson is right, along with 3 other Danes.

Nayim's goal was the Cup Winners' Cup I believe. And no Romanians, incredibly.

There was a player from Japan, or Korea or China who was at a team who beat some italian team. He was already scheduled to join the italian team and after he scored and knocked them out, there terminate the deal.

Edit: It was actuclly a world cup game im thinking about.

Those fucking italians and their disrespect towards a South Korean player called Ahn Jung-hwan who was playing for Perugia

Ahn Jung-hwan scored a golden goal in extra-time from a header in the round of 16 game against Italy that sent the South Koreans through to the quarter-finals. The next day, Perugia owner Luciano Gaucci cancelled his contract and was quoted as saying, "I have no intention of paying a salary to someone who has ruined Italian football." Gaucci stated that his decision was not due to the goal, alleging comments by Ahn about the Italian nation. South Korean national manager Guus Hiddink criticised the decision.[5][6] Gaucci later took back what he had said, and attempted to take up the £1.2 million option to sign Ahn on a permanent basis. Ahn rejected the offer of a three-year contract and refused to turn up for pre-season training despite Perugia claiming ownership of his registration, saying "I will no longer discuss my transfer to Perugia, who attacked my character instead of congratulating me for a goal in the World Cup." Busan also claimed that they had not been paid by Perugia

That Forlan winner still haunts me somewhat.

You may be getting mixed up but one goalscorer is from that area of the world.

I'd be pretty surprised if anyone manages to get the Hungarian.

I guess technically both Iwobi and Hazard are correct. No other Nigerians have scored in the final but there are 4 other Belgians on the list.

Still a few modern final goalscorers missing.

Still a couple of modern players left, if you're struggling I can drop some clues.

A big one. From the 92/93 season to 16/17, name every player who has played in a champions league final and also played in the premier league.

*Must have played at least 1 minute of the final. Staying on the bench does not count
*Player could have played in the final with a team before or after they joined a premier league club
*Players who only appeaered in the final with a team from the premier league club are excluded

I didnt invovle the last two finals, becuase I didnt want too.

To cut it down a little, exclud every player who appeaered in the final with a team from the premier league only. If they appeaered in more than one final with a team from the premier league and a forign club, they count
