Making constructive suggestions to actually improve the board is good. Whinging that things aren't exactly like they were, even if that has no advantage beyond, 'because I'm used to that' is just pointless.

We're the remnants left from a dying and defunct forum, the only ones who were motivated to move to another one en masse.
We're pretty much the definition of a cliquey bunch of wankers.

The forum is ugly and slow, but it works, which the other one emphatically doesn't at the moment. Better to get on with it than complain.

We've been using the same forum and the same threads for more or less 10 years, is it that hard to believe that some people are going to have a hard time adjusting to it within 2 days?

We've missed a trick dead-naming ourselves, since we're not going to get any new members without any sort of Football Manager component. We should have called this place 'Bantasy Island' and got the LadBible to affiliate with us.
The forum is a bit difficult to read. I think the lack of avatars is what's doing it, as that tended to be what I used to identify people without having to pay attention.
A new skin wouldn't go amiss, but then we'll get used to this one in the next while and complain when it's finally changed. It was always thus.
