Looking at Everton's fixtures, I wouldn't be shocked to see them in the top four by New Year.

I usually wouldn't like Arsenal in the cup, but being away and with us getting several thousand I might be able to get myself a ticket to a ground otherwise out of my reach.
This is the perfect tie to bin off the Cup, which they will do if they are anywhere near the top of the league come January.
The only saving grace is that Hull will probably be trying to do the same thing.
I can't see that happening. I think there'll be so much confidence in the squad that they'll be thinking they can knock out a Premier League team, and I think they'll want to challenge themselves as well.
It depends on fitness, but I think we'll give it all we've got in both competitions.
It's not a case of confidence, I just doubt they'll pick their best players. Sadly, the magic of the cup has no bearing when the golden goose is perhaps within reach.
